Can't live without it. Affordable, super strong.
Who can live without double sided sticky tape? No, really... I use it for everything!I use double sided tape for parcel wrapping mostly, but I also carry a roll with me. My late gran used to have her own favourite product; it was a 'J-Cloth' she kept damp in a polythene bag, "because you never know when you might need it, in case of emergency".Well that is how I feel about my double-sided tape. I have used it for so many things and it sits there in the glove box... waiting.... Because of that, it was there when my number plate fell off and hey, presto, "look what I have"--double-sided tape! But the best thing about it in parcel-wrapping is that you use it on the inside of the packaging rather than externally, and just press together the edges. That gives a really neat finish with no visible tape.I haven't used this brand before but I did my research and it was the cheapest that also was available through Amazon Prime, so you get it affordably, fast, which is what makes a difference. AND, cheapest doesn't mean inferior, evidently; this stuff claims to hold up to 50kg? That's heavier than I am!

very good but I need a stronger one as puppy keeps pulling my sky box off the wall. its very good for lighter things as long as you don't have a puppy that keeps pulling things off

Highly recommended
This stuff really works. Very often you buy things like this only to find out that the performnce leaves a lot to be desired. Well, at least sticking things on to tiles sych as a toilet roll holder, this product has tremendous grip with a very thin profile. Obviously, I don't know how durable it is, but first impressions are excellent.

This brand is not really working for what I need.
I bought this product with the understanding that it is stronger than a nail and last long. Followed the instruction of how to use it and what to do before using the product. But, the product is not good as it says. I have practically used this double adhesive to attach my small and light curtain rod to the metal structure of my small kitchen window. It stayed attached a couple of days then it fell down. I attempted to attach it again but still it only hold the curtain for a couple of days. It's so annoying! I thought I resolve s problem but I didn't. Besides I spent money for something that is not working as it should be.

Double sided tape reviews
This review is specific to using a range of tapes to attach mountings for perspex shelves to bathroom tiles. I needed to bond chrome plated mountings to smooth ceramic tiles, without any significant twisting. After much research I settled on three candidates to try. These tapes may be better or worse for different applications.1) Jurasstic High Bond Tape: this tape has a very sticky and strong adhesive (it even sticks to the scissors when trying to cut off a length, so be careful with the angle of cut). It is made of about 0.5mm thick clear gel, so has slight give to help fitting, but not too much that the shelves sag. The gel hardens slightly after fitting. It has a plastic film backing, which makes it easier to remove than waxed paper equivalents - it can be detached from the adhesive and doesnt tear. This tape also comes in a plastic package, which is ideal for storing, so it doesnt stick to anything else or get contaminated. It claims to be suitable for outdoor use, so should handle damp conditions in the bathroom. For my purpose, this is the best option.2) Mammouth Tape Powerful Grip: First off, this comes wrapped in a plastic covering to stop the adhesive at the side of the tape sticking to the card packaging - this is a pig to remove. Once removed, I suspect this will become a pain once rest of the roll is left lying in my toolbox, and it will either stick to everything, or collect debris that will degrade the edge of the tape. The adhesive is strong, and seems to have strengthening fibres embedded; that wont help the strength of sticking, but could stop it from tearing. As the Jurasstic, it sticks to scissors when cutting: it is a very similar adhesive, but seems slightly thinner. As the adhesive goes to the edge of the backing and overlaps ever so slightly, it sticks to the layer below on the roll, making unrolling more difficult than the Jurasstic. Very similar to the Jurasstic in terms of performance, but let down by the construction of the overall product (specifically the width and material for the backing).3) 151 Hard as Nails: I was optimistic about this, given 151s reputation for other products. However, it is an adhesive backed foam that gives too much movement for my purpose - the shelf sags as the foam allows the mountings to twist slightly. This would be an advantage for applications that need some give, but not for me. The adhesive is not particularly strong - stronger than normal sticky tape, but doesnt inspire the same confidence in the "suction" the other gel product offer - it doesnt stick to the scissors nearly as much, and doesnt feel like it would rip your skin off if you touch it! It is very easy to unroll, but the backing paper tears easily when trimming. This product is probably better suited where some give is needed and more area can be covered to give strength. It doesnt inspire confidence on small fittings in a bathroom. For all these products, the surfaces you are bonding are important, and cleanliness is critical. Any dust or flakey surface will stick to the adhesive but then detach from the substrate; dont expect miracles - they can only stick to the surface, and if the surface isnt up to the job, then you need something else. I found there was an almost invisible layer of grout dust on the tile surface, and that bonded well to the tapes but they fell off the wall - thats my error, and not a fault of the products. So clean and prepare well beforehand.

Glorified Double-Sided sellotape
After about a month of usage, trying different methods and application, I have come to the conclusion that this product is essentially a roll of white double sided standard sticky tape.I should have known from the price really, the saying "too good to be true" comes to mind, definitely. The packaging claims it can hold up to 2KG of weight, this is a bogus claim - it didn't manage to hold my extension lead in place for longer than a week, it would feel very tight and in place upon application, however after a few hours... slowly but surely the adhesive would degrade and eventually it would give way.I also attempted to use this tape on a monitor powerbrick, and I can understand why it would possibly fall off due to the heat generated however me rolling a strip of standard sellotape has managed to hold the powerbrick, yet this "harder than nails" product failed to do so after a few days.I would honestly say, give this a miss. Pay a little extra for Mammoth Tape (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Everbuild-Mammoth-Powergrip-Double-Sided-Clear/dp/B001G9HVVK). It has a much larger surface area, is ribbed (to help keep stickiness and hold out for longer) and has been able to keep what I wanted stuck, much easier! I picked up a roll at my local hardware store for £5, and as soon as I opened it and touched it I knew it was exactly what I needed. So, for "hard as nails" I give it two stars. Will probably come in handy some other day for something super small, like holding my mouse mat in place, however for mounting onto walls and flat surfaces - this is absolutely useless!

Prix intéressant
Il adhère très bien, simplement il est un peu trop épais et fait penser à chewing-gum car couleur blanche et l'épaisseur. Pas très esthétique, mais fait son travail
