Perfect for salads blah blah, leaves them really dry, I also when cooking for a lot of people blanch my veg throw them into ice cold water then spin them to dry them. I can do this the day before and just microwave them on the day cutting down oodles of time veg is always perfect and the colour keeps better than any other cooking method. It was a tip I picked up at a hotel restaurant.
