ORBLUE Onion Goggles

I bought these glasses not because I have a problem with onions, but because my eyes stream when I go outdoors and I wanted a way of protecting them from the air! The goggles arrived very quickly. Unfortunately, they arrived with a slight imperfection to one of the lenses. The seller dealt with the problem very quickly and in a very pleasant manner; a pleasure to deal with. The goggles take a little getting used to and I am sure I will get a few funny looks out of doors but they seem to be foolproof as far as air tight protection is concerned. Recommended.

I was disappointed that - due to the unprotected gap between my brows and ears - these goggles did not work during onion chopping. However I have since discovered that they are great for hayfever. (I suffer badly in the conjunctivitis department.)

Nice enough goggles, some adjustment on the arms but still you find they don't seal very well round your eyes and can still get some nasty onions fumes stinging the eyes, but they do look less daft than the swimming goggles we used before !

I’ve given these the lowest review based on the fact that what they’re manufactured to do, they don’t. These glasses are only useful if they have a tight fit to your face. This depends on the shape of your head/face. First time I tried them there was a gap, which let in the onion vapour. This clearly won’t resolve itself and the product is useless to me.

A great stocking filler that got plenty of use over the holidays and beyond.

Great look but they don't make a complete enough seal around the eyes to prevent tears.

High five! These goggles are superb! So comfortable, and I have a low nose bridge, a round face, so hard to find anything that fits! Also, i'm continuously wearing them due to severe dry eye syndrome( Sjögren's Syndrome), to protect them from dust, pet hair, wind, anything harmful. It's keeping the moisture from my special eye drops for much longer than before. I can't explain how much comfort these have provided me. I'll buy a spare pair soon before eye surgery. Truly amazed and happy with this purchase!

I've never truly managed to chop strong onions without getting emotional. All the tips found on the internet didn't really eliminate my tears. Gordon Ramsey helped but I still got tears eventually. I'm guessing he doesn't chop his onions much when on tv?I looked up 'onion glasses' and these appeared on Amazon. It's a simple theory, block the pesky onion vapors from getting to our peepers. These are a simple pair of plastic glasses/goggles. The trick is there is a foam seal that needs to isolate your eyes from the vapors. In my case, it works because the foam does meet my face. However, it's highly likely that this won't be the case for many meaning the product won't work. For lucky me, I can now chop and chop away no longer ending up looking like I've just watched Eastenders.

Terzo paio comprato in poco tempo, i due precedenti li ho regalati. Sono ottimi e ho tagliato anche 2kg di cipolle senza piangere.Puo accadere che in base alla forma del viso possano passare delle esalazioni ma comunque sono confortevoli e utilissimi per lo scopo. Prima di acquistarli ho provato a tagliare tante cipolle utilizzando una maschera da sub: funziona alla grande ma l occhio non respira. Questo occhiale è il compromesso ideale. Straconsigliato

Habe die Brille direkt getestet und bin sehr zufrieden. Wobei ich die Brille nicht für die eigentliche Funktion (Schneiden von Zwiebeln), sondern für außerhäusige Aktivitäten gedacht habe, um meine Augen vor Wind zu schützen (Fahrradfahren, Spaziergänge am Strand etc.). Dies konnte ich zwar noch nicht testen, bin aber sicher, dass sie auch dort gute Dienst leisten wird.Ansonsten alles prima. Service super (sogar persönliche Kontaktaufnahme), Lieferung super ... Fazit: Immer wieder.

Avec ces lunettes, on ne pleure plus, c'est vraiment fantastique! Comme elles n'adhèrent pas complètement au visage, j'ai craint qu'elles ne soient inutiles mais non, elles entourent suffisamment les yeux pour que l'on soit tranquille! Avec en plus, un look super sympa!

This product is reallly great! When I bought these glasses it was a gift for my mother. She is an onion lover but sadly her eyes became very fragile and she have dry eyes/infection regulary. Even if she take and medecine well and take care of her eyes, the onions were one of those things she could not enjoy as much as she wanted to. (Too painful) Now, she can enjoy it freely, tearsless, painless :) I am very satisfied of this product and the feedback from my mother is very good. The shipping was lightning fast and the product in perfect shape.Thank you!

Aunque las gafas están destinadas en un principio para cortar cebollas y que no te lloren los ojos, yo creo que pueden servir para cualquier cosas.Por ejemplo; como gafas de seguridad, ya que los cristales son de color transparentes, y están selladas por todos lados con una especie de silicona esponjosa, seguro que no te entraran motas, o polvo, en mi caso he estado esta tarde jugando con ellas al tenis, y he estado muy cómodo con ellas, me las he utilizado para jugar dobles, como sabéis el estar en la red es un poco peligroso, sobre todo por los pelotazos que te puedes llevar, también decir que no se han empañado.La fabricación aparenta robusta y duradera, los cristales son de plástico, y se ve perfectamente con ellas, sin deformaciones.En definitiva, unas gafas que puedes darle cualquier uso.Cedido para comentario.
