Dr. Oetker Tortenguss (Clear Glaze) 2 x 10g

I searched for years in international markets and was never able to find tortenguss and it was hiding here all along. The tiny packets are perfect for 1 cake. This tastes amazing and is very easy to make. This is the only one i'm going to buy when i want to make cake!

I made mini fruit tarts for a wedding. This glaze worked perfectly to seal in the beautiful fresh fruit. Very happy with this product.

I actually ordered this product as a joke. I needed a package that said “glaze”, and that’s about all that I got. First and foremost, I did not realize that this product would be so small. It’s about the size of a packet of taco seasoning or brown gravy mix. It’s literally 10 g which is about a third of an ounce. For me, there is nothing really special about this product, and I don’t see any value in paying almost 6 dollars for two packets of that size. But the real kicker is that the packets are expired. I received my shipment on December 19, 2024. The Best By date is November 15, 2024. So I overpaid for a product that I’m not going to use and couldn’t even if I wanted to because it’s a month past its use date. I’d give 0 starts of I could.
