Everything about Barronett's big Mike ground hub blind was designed with the archer in mind. Big Mike fits in small places, but lets you stand tall so you'll have the opportunity to get up close and personal with that Trophy animal for the thrill of a perfect hunt. Most bow-hunters practice shooting while standing, yet they hunt out of small, cramped hunting blinds. The big Mike hub blind from Barronett Blinds is 80 inch tall, allowing most archers enough room to shoot while standing! with multiple window configurations you'll have the perfect combination of concealment and view for your next hunting adventure.

2.0 is different NOT Better
Buyers beware! Unlike the Original Big Mike, which I have hunted in a lot, the 2.0 only has shoot through mesh on the main large window. The other windows are without mesh. Also if you are 6ft the main window does not open enough to give you a standing shot like the Original Big Mike. Also the "silient" system it uses to lift or lower the main window is awkward and problematic. It's also just as loud as a zipper since you are usually fumbling around with it and having to jerk it pretty much to get it to move. It's a great and inventive design but in practice it falls short. I wouldn't have sent it back if the other panels had shoot through because those would have been tall enough but without shoot through it's just not worth the money.

Umbrella thin
If you need to get in and out quiet and gracefully, it’s not happening with this one. Windows all zippered and mesh uses little hooks; the sippers are loud and the mesh is cumbersomeI hunted in it once, just bumped my broadhead on the side and made a slit. Durability is a big question mark. Closing up in the dark is clunky, noisy, and inconvenient. Going back to sliding mesh and thicker material. It’s a good value for the price but I’m going back to Cabela’s blinds.

Not durable, low end materials
Have had to order this twice. First one ripped as soon as I went to set it up. Had to wait until the manufacturer received the item back before they issued a refund. Ordered again hoping it was just a fluke, second one didn’t rip however the fiberglass rods snapped 4 out of 8 under just barely half an inch of light snow. Not durable at all. Camouflage was perfect. Sad when the last blind I had cost half as much and withheld winds and snow.

Look elsewhere
Nice and tall but that’s about the only good thing about it. Loud zippers. COMPLICATED ties for the shoot through screens. Difficult and equally loud to open up for hunting. Didn’t even last one season before it collapsed and tore...disappointed! Sat in two other blinds made by different manufacturers (cheaper in price as well) and they performed much better.

Happy with the purchase
This replaces a similar but not as sturdy pop-up blind that was crushed by ice and snow. This blind took a huge snow load, and although it partially collapsed from the weight, it sprang right back up when I knocked the snow off. I especially like how the window openings are so adjustable. From a low slit, to a much wider opening, depending on circumstances. Got my deer from this blind, no problem.

Good overall value for the money
Overall this blind is a good value for the money. It's tall and spacious enough to draw a bow from a standing position, it seems to hold up in the weather and it's a great price. I left it up for about 6 weeks and the only drawbacks I noticed were the storage bag for the blind ripped the first time I tried to put the blind away (it could be more durable) and when it is cold, there is no quiet way to lower the mesh in the windows. So decide what mesh you want down before hand and just leave it down.

Disappointed
The carry bag is as cheap as they come and fell apart during third use. The thread is thin and poorly or barely used rendering backpack use a joke. Straps fell right off and there is no adjustment. I imagine this is their standard bag. Maybe a better duffel style would suit like camping tents. Pops up quick and easy in two minutes you are all set. The interior black wears off almost instantly starting on the first hunt leaving a beautiful star pattern inside like looking at the Milky Way. I am looking for a better product as I sit here now and hunt. One season use at best.

overall good deal
Bought a used blind was very pleased with the overall product, however it came with no instructions The blind is easy to setup and take down don't know about durability or waterproof time will tell. There seemed to be a lot of inner liner flaking off. Think it was a good deal for the price! The only real problem with the blind is the warranty registration The most unfriendly web page I have ever experienced!!!!

I was hoping for better.
I bought this blind with hopes of being able to shoot my traditional longbow while standing. I am 5'9" with 62" bow. This blind is still too short to shoot without kneeling.Engineering of "ninja" windows are overly complicated; at one point the blind became entangled with rods / hubs / window fixtures and took about 3 hours for me and my 3 kids to get straightened out. DO NOT TAKE DOWN WITHOUT FULLY CLOSING ALL WINDOWS.Lots of pinholes and imperfections on material. Now that I have a "system" for set-up and take down it works OK.
