Make sure you have this on hand. One of my Clinical Aromatherapy instructors told a bunch of us about this product and after some debate about whether it is safe to take these essential oils internally.....(yeah i don't listen to multilevel marketing companies whose people lack basic knowledge about safety fact sheets and dangers of essential oils) i decided to give it a try. There are some other ingredients in the formula that are clearly bad for your health, if one has done any research.....however my sinuses were so congested I was willing to give it a try. We were supplied with the info about how it has been used safely in europe for 40 years so i said YES i'll try it!!! Also i knew it would only be for short term use. As another had mentioned, i did feel a quite noticeable difference in about an hour. I've been telling everyone about it, even some doctors. Because my sinus infection was SO bad this time i did continue to use extra strength mucinex.....i also used vertical nasal irrigation and continued other natural remedies......but the Myrtol 300 definitely helped. I'd say buy some before you need it so you don't have to wait a day or so for shipping. : )

This stuff is fantastic relief for my chronic allergies that manifest as sinus and lung congestion and inflammation. You must follow the directions and eat something a little while after taking it, and in my experience that food has to be carbohydrate rich (like, a piece of toast/bread with peanut butter for example). You'll know that the pill has begun to break down in your body by a eucalyptus/ menthol kind of taste. I find this actually very pleasant; the sensation provides noticeable relief in my throat and nose/sinuses. It is a bit pricey, but I'm hoping I may be able to replace another sinus/lung supplement with this and that'll kind of balance out the cost overall in my budget. All in all, one of the better medications I've tried for relatively quick relief of chronic sinus and lung discomfort.

For many months I’ve been waking up with sinus headaches. My doctor wasn’t finding any infection so I was taking 2 NyQuil caps every night so as not to suffer the headache in the morning. I read online someplace that many people were having positive results with Myrtol. After finding it on Amazon I figured I didn’t have anything to lose as I had gone thru the Zyrtec and Benedryl etc... routine. What I’ve discovered over the past 2 months: 2 of these caps at night no headache in the AM, forget to take :sinus pressure headache in the morning. I was at sea the week I was to not take Myrtol but being away from pollen didn’t help...I had a headache every morning! I recommend giving this a try even if you can only take for 3 weeks at a time.

I think these work. I gave my husband some when he first said he was feeling sick and guess what...I didn't hear anything after that. And I also took them and didn't get sick. I read about it hurting peoples stomachs and also read not to have anything warm within 2 hours of taking it to avoid that so I didn't have any stomach issues. I like that it's all natural too.

This is the only product I have found to allow me to breathe through my nose. I just want to know why it is and has been 'currently unavailable' for so long. I wish I had bought 30 boxes instead of only 3 the last time it was available.

To anyone who suffers migraines w/ sinusitis and has ever taken Mucinex at the same time..... THAT severe head pain you suffered after taking it .... THAT is what I endured with this. To others who can't imagine it picture an intolerable headache with pressure, fever, dehydration, nauseous, ect (like a horrid hangover that hospitalizes you). I can see how Myrtol may work from someone who's nose drips 24/7, you drink a ton of water, and can tolerate Mucinex. More power to y'all!!! For migraine sufferers who can't get mucus to drain our sinus cavities at all (it just sits there like a brick of sludge), this is not the product for us. I wish it were but nope.

A German doctor recommended this & the white paper I read backs up that it works, but the box I got isn’t as strong as the one I bought while I was there. Maybe this is the lower dosage, but it says 300 mg, so I’m not sure if it’s correct.

I always have some in my cabinet in case of any signs of a sinus infection. My sinus infections used to get so bad that I mostly needed antibiotics. Ever since I started taking a combination of Myrtol and another natural remedy, I am able to get it under control before it gets really bad. I cannot go without it anymore!
