Decent quality, maybe a notch below my Epiphone TP-6 but not bad at all. There are no issues with the gold plating as mentioned in some of the other reviews, however it is more of a yellow color than the factory gold parts. The thumbscrews are straight and turn freely. Also, the back corners are much less round than an OEM TP-6. Not a big deal, but the more-rounded look is depicted in the product page photos. You can see the difference between the Guyker and an OEM Epiphone TP6 in my photos (Guyker is on the sunburst, OEM is on the natural).The mounting posts fit in the stock Epiphone bushings, however the threading doesn't seem to be cut as cleanly as it required a bit of effort to screw them in. Also, the fit is between the postsVERY tight. It wouldn't fit with the stock mounting posts, thus I had to use the included posts. An extra half millimeter would help with fitment issues and allow the use of stock mounting posts.Overall I'm happy with the tailpice, especially for the price. The Epiphone version is impossible to find, and the Gibson one is stupid expensive, so I would say this is a good alternative.

I like TP-6 style tuning tailpieces because they give me fine tuning that standard tuning machines, even 18:1 ones can’t provide, and I don’t have to move my fingering hand. Another (never mentioned) advantage is quicker string changes.The OEM tailpiece will set you back at least $170, so I opted to just try this one, and I am very pleased.You will absolutely need to lubricate the screws with lithium paste lubricant to handle the dry bind issue, which is severe, but it will solve it.

I normally don't write reviews but this is an exception. I bought this because I wasn't about to spend what Gibson wanted for it , SO GLAD I DID. Tuning is stable and to my surprise it's brighter . EZ to install EZ to adjust , my suggestion is to adjust the adjusters to about half way before restringing so you have the room you need to make the proper adjustments .I can't express how happy I am with this purchase , other than I'm going to buy 3 more . I guess that says it all.

Very Handy not just for fine tuning but for Ease of adjusting Intonation. Both hands are right there where they need to be. Much easier to replace Strings now, stings need only to be Loosened to remove instead of threading thru traditional tailpiece. Much Cheaper than Original TP-6. Seems well made, thick Plating. Make sure it's In Stock before Ordering unless you like Waiting on the Slow Boat! Fit my Firefly FFDCD, FFLG and FF338.

Perfect fit on 61 Gibson Epiphone SG inspired by Gibson. Works great, looks great. Easy to install, can make minor string adjustments, stays in tune very good. Only complaint doesn’t have the locks t like the OEM tail piece. So be careful changing string it will fall off the mounts. The OEM tail has metal clips that keep it from falling off when removing strings.

The first one I got had problems. There is a long pin that holds all the string retainers in place. It had fallen out and it was impossible to peen it to keep it in. The second one they replaced it with was fine. I had a Gibson TP-6 on my LP WAY back in the 70s, and this is pretty much exactly like it. The only issue I had was the tuners did not twist as easily as I would have liked. I unscrewed them and lubricated with some candle wax and they work much better. For those who have never had one of these, it should be pointed out that it makes string changes easier because you just place the ball end into the retainer and tighten, and when you remove them, they just pop out the top. I was able to use the same (very) new set I had just put on my guitar (Firefly 338, fits perfectly) because there was extra length after being removed from the conventional tailpiece. With this and a set of locking tuners, string changes are a breeze. And if you are stuck with a crappy set of tuners, this will make your fine tuning way easier. I would have given five stars if the first one was not a dud.

It actually make the guitar sustain more. Some people will tell you it cuts the sustain, but I have this bridge on two of my guitars and in each case it sustains more.I will say this though, I also have 19 to 1 locking tuners on one guitar and, 18 to 1 locking tuners on the other. In each case, its easier to use those to tuning machines than the bridge, but where this bridge comes in handy is during performances because it is right there.

Great tone and sustain, stays in tune, great fast service, 5 star

Zuerst war ich misstrauisch,aufgrund so mancher negativen Rezension.Aber : an alle Gitarristen die schon ein paar Jahre dabei sind (ich bj.63)das Teil ist absolut zu empfehlen.Ich besitze eine Ibanez mit Klemmsattel und Floyed Rose und suchte schon lange so etwas wie Feinstimmer für meine Gibson Tribute.Passt perfekt ohne Umbau der Aufnahme.Qualität ist wertig,und stimmen im Centbereich klappt ohne Probleme.Die tiefe E-Saite musste ich vorher einhängen,da die Umwickelung zu dick war.Fazit: Wer Woodoo braucht möge sich das Original zulegen,für alle anderen die einfach nur ein funktionierendes Werkzeug brauchen können hier nen Hunnie sparen.P.S.:Apropos Woodoo: meine Ohren konnten keine Soundveränderungen feststellen

Great tailpiece. This is the second one I've bough and I have no issues. Really high quality all around, would not hesitate to but another!
