Janome Horizon Memory Craft 15000

If this machine did everything that is supposed to do then it would be the best machine ever. Unfortunately, nothing works! From the needle threader, that might work one in twenty times of operation if you're lucky, to the thread tension that is awful and needs manual adjustment on built in stitches, regardless of fabric being used. It is noisy in operation and the machine has a buzzing sound as soon as it is switched on. This was the most frustrating machine that I have ever owned and it had to go, Rubbish! I have always loved Janome machines but Janome certainly let themselves down with the MC15000 Quilt Maker. Sorry Janome.

Fantastic machine! It is usually operator error that causes such frustration as in the previous 3 reviews. If you practice and learn as you go this machine is capable of professional results. The V3 quilt maker or an upgraded V2 to V3 has a better needle threader, hp foot and plate, and ruler work functons! The best of the best!

The Janome MC15000 has transformed my life, but not in a good way. I used to love sitting down with a project and tinkering, but thanks to this machine I feel almost constantly stressed out and am seriously thinking of just selling it and starting a new hobby. Nothing is simple on this machine and nothing ever just works without problems. If you enjoy scouring through your manual day after day troubleshooting one thing after another and spending most of your time, not sewing but trying to find answers to problems, this is definitely the machine for you....just make me an offer you can have mine! I wish I had never heard of the Janome MC 15000.
