I bought this for my grandmother who recently moved into a retirement home. She is struggling with her short term memory so I thought having some familiar surroundings might help her transition. This looks and sounds just like the vintage phone that she had in her kitchen. The buttons are big enough and well spaced enough for her to dial it easily. I really like that it lights up when it rings. I had forgotten that her old one did that and it gave me such a rush of nostalgia to see it. The ringer sounds the same and the sound quality of the call is better than I expected.

Exactly what I expected

We had a parent who struggled with too many buttons and remembering how to answer the phone. This phone was perfect - she only had to pick up to answer and replace the handset to hang up. The front buttons are easy for her to push to make a call. This phone gave her some independence back!
