Timely arrival in large grey plastic postal bag. Good quality quilt apart from the lengths of "excess" overlocking threads hanging loose at the corners, which are easily snipped off - to be expected as item was described as "seconds". Quilt light and "airy" still too warm for the few "unseasonably hot and sweltering" summer nights but really fits the bill when the weather turned. I was hoping for something resembling the thin, light summer quilts used by hotels in Europe, but this is more a lighter version of the UK 4.5tog. We are seriously considering checking out the seller's stock of winter-weight quilts as the make quality is way superior than the ones we bought from Debenhams.

I overheat easily when I sleep, and not only in summer. I dive in under a duvet and after few minutes I have to uncover myself a bit. When I had 10.5tog duvet I was waking up throughout the night sweating and uncomfortable, so the quality of my sleep was very poor and I also felt gross waking up covered in sweat. So I bought this 4.5tog duvet in 2017 and guess what - I am still using it!! It is amazing, very light and yet cozy. I haven't had problems with overheating nor sweating since I bought it. I was a little bit hesitant how it would cope in winter when temperatures drop but it holds its own! And on a particularly frosty night I can just put a nice, soft blanket on top of it and I'm golden :) It also washes very well (even though I bought a king size, it fits very well in my washing machine) and dries quickly - in summer I would wash it in the morning and it would dry indoors ready to be used in the evening. After 4 years it still has the same shape as when I bought it.Recently I was thinking about buying a new duvet. Not because there is something wrong with the one I have! Quite opposite - structurally it's still great, still holds the shape and still using it daily (or should I say nightly). The only reason I wanted a new one is because I had few spills, maybe few too many, and over the years it started looking rather grim. But that's on me!tl;drIf you're looking for a fantastic lightweight and durable duvet, please consider this one! I've had mine for over 4 years now. I have recommended it to my friends and family and I would recomment it to you as well :)

Very much like the texture and weight of this duvet it is very squidgy! It does say that this is sold as a second quality item and yes it is, some of the stitching hasn't been finished off but as it is in a cover no one knows. I would definitely recommend this product. Good price too.

This a a good quality duvet, has the fogarty tags which also say it's a 1tog. However, it's so heavy that it's just as hot as our 4.5tog, so we still end up sweating in the night! I find sleeping well with just a sheet impossible, which is why we thought a 1tog would be a good idea. We'll save this duvet for Autumn when the nights start getting colder because I think it will be super comfy and snuggly with the weight of it. Drapes well on the bed too.

The perfect duvet for me .Our duvet's feathers had all migrated into the middle leaving the sides cold so it was time to get a replacement. While I was making up the guest bed I found a light duvet labelled 'fogarty' . It was so soft and drapey but the wrong size for our bed. I googled 'fogarty' and bought this one. Lovely . It moulds to your body without leaving a gap like the stiff ones do. It doesn't crackle like the old down one did. Even the husband commented on it this morning. I will most likely get a winter weight one too.It arrived earlier than predicted and I can't tell it is a second. I'd recommend the seller.

We normally use 3.5 and 10 tog duvets so thought a 1 tog would be a nice, very lightweight cover for warmer nights. The item we received (which was not labelled any particular tog rating) felt heavier than either of our other Fogarty duvets. We almost immediately decided that we would not be able to use this product and have returned it to the seller. Note that Seller uses Evri who, apparently, "lost" the first shipment and dropped the return at the wrong address. I was then charged for the return shipment.

Excellent quality lightweight quilt. We were lucky enough to get a 1st quality version and the company had run out of the second grade ones. Nice and soft, moulds around the body sufficiently to feel covered, without the weight or too much warmth, ideal for my night time menopausal sweats and warm evenings. Nicely finished and well stitched, all in all very happy with this. Great value for money too. The bonus is that it rolls up pretty small, so could easily take away for the weekend when staying in a hotel - as quilts are often hefty and too thick for us. We would certainly recommend this item and the delivery was really quick too/1
