I received this cable today, so these are my initial impressions. I bought it for use with my Galaxy Nexus 16GB Sim Free Smartphone and I can report that it works very well. The connectors at both ends fit snugly into their respective sockets and the micro-B end has two small springy teeth that help the cable to stay attached to the phone, but still allow it to be removed without too much force being required. This is a pleasing feature, compared to one of the other cables I tried previously, the teeth of which were fixed in place and thus made insertion/removal of the micro-B end rather difficult ( SAMSUNG GALAXY NEXUS USB MAINS CHARGER WITH MICRO USB CABLE PART OF THE QUBITS ACCESSORIES RANGE ). I have used the cable successfully for both charging the phone and transferring data to my PC. I recommend it highly.

Nothing more to say. It worked out of the packet and the quality looks OK as well. I've used it on a permanent install, so there will never be any movement and so I don't expect this to ever fail.

These leads do what they do. They are not top quality power and data mega-transfer conduits able to send 200mb/s, with anti tangle coatings and all that. The beauty of this product are the dimensions and the value for money. They are less than 2 quid each but still charge my tech at the same speed as leads that cost 5 times as much. The SP for this lead is the length. You can have a desktop multi outlet charger and to charge it you hook up your phone to the charger with a 60cm lead either coiled up and messy or just left dangling over the edge of the table. Not ideal if you like stuff to be tidy. Not ideal if someone catches the dangling lead and pulls your phone off the table. With this super-short lead you don't have excess lead dangling in the way of everyone. Nor do you have to coil up a long lead. Its simple, tidy and safer. As far as I can tell the charging speed through this lead is exactly the same as expensive leads. It my seem like a lot of fuss about something so cheap and simple but I promise, that the day your 500 pound phone has smashed on the floor because someone has caught the long charge lead that was dangling over the edge of the table, you'll wish you opted for this two pound super short option. The delivery time was great as well at 3 days.

This small USB to micro USB adapter is just the job for charging my blackberry up while at work. I purchased this product to use in conjunction with a PowerMonkey Solar charger and have found countless uses for it. It allows me to charge my Blackberry from a work computer with out taking up a plug socket and a load of wires. It also allows me to interact with my device from my personal laptop. A fantastic bit of gear and for such a cheap price it is a robust and well made solution to more than its fair share of problem.

Unknown, doesn't fit into a Samsung A35 so a waste of money for me, same as the other one i ordered, that doesn't fit either.

The shorter length actually does work. I had a lot of problems communicating with my eReader while using cables over a metre in length, while transferring books all of a sudden the communication between would stop resulting in errors. I put all this down to the length of cable. I searched around for a shorter length cable less the a metre, believe me they are not easy to find, and then I came across this, six inch length cable, a bit pricey compared to the usual length cables, but well worth the money if stability is an issue. I would recommend the StarTech 6 inch USB Cable A to Micro B to anybody has issues with longer length cables. The extra money spent is well worth it.

This was purchased to replace an older, failing short USB cable in my car as I have an external hard disk with music connected to it. I wanted another short one so save having coiled up cables in the car as the drive sits right by the USB port. This was the cheapest 'decent' brand that I could find and whilst there are a few that are cheaper, this is nice quality and works very well.

I wanted a very short micro USB cable to attach my wireless charger to my car. The charger just fits into the gadget tray in my Renault Megane and allows me to charge my mobile while driving. Longer cables just get in the way and look untidy. This one fits perfectly, appears to be well made and is reasonably priced. So, no complaints from me!

Rientra nelle aspettative. L'unico neo non si capisce bene la differenza sul lato dello spinotto sinistra/destra, difficile capire quale specificare. Ci vorrebbe un illustrazione che fa capire meglio cosa s'intende su dx/sx.

The cable works great. I like the longer length.

I like how short the cable is. I have a USB power socket in my car so I just use the 1ft cable to hook up my droid phone to charge. No more tangled cord or twist ties or zip ties or cable ties or ribbons or yarn or duct tape whatever people use to organize their cord. Very simple, clean, and works well. higly recommended for car use! I recommend not going any shorter than 1ft as you may end up not having enough length.

Después de que el cable original del Samsung SIII me diera problemas (al principio había que poner el móvil en una determinada posición y al final no había manera de cargar), me decidí por este cable y puedo decir que he acertado. Lo uso con el enchufe del SIII original y va igual de bien (que el cable original cuando funcionaba, claro), de hecho encaja de manera más firme en el móvil. Antes de éste compré un cable en el todo a cien, que resultó ser muy fino y no cargaba el móvil, únicamente mantenía el nivel de la batería sin importar a dónde estuviera enchufado. Este cable Startech sin embargo se ve robusto y carga rápido con el enchufe original, enchufándolo también en el coche o al USB del ordenador. Tampoco se ha desconectado nunca del USB como sí ocurría incluso al principio con el cable del SIII original.
