Had been carrying a backpack for day hikes, but got tired of having to ask a friend to retrieve my water bottle. Thought about it, and for a day hike I just need access to water, snacks, bear spray and whistle. Checked dimensions and found the front pockets hold a standard water bottle. Now hiking is much easier!

Fantastic product. It saves from taking out with me a table, cases and boxes when stargazing planets and nebulas. Two big pockets take several eyepieces each.other pockets I use for filters and torch plus other equipment. I have been using it these winter months and will not go out without it. Hands are always free and no more stumbling. I wear several layers of clothing with thick coat and vest has plenty of adjustment. I haven't stoped smiling since buying this vest. I just grab my scope and put vest on with what I need. Good quality. Highly recommend.

I am a keen photographer not a fisherman but the same needs of plenty of pockets to put my gear in. This is perfect with at least 10 pockets. All the zips and stitching are good quality and put together well. I am 6' with a 42 " chest and this waistcoat is plenty large enough. I recommend buying one and paid £17.99 for mine .
