Great quality - Easy to use
Works great - sturdier and more durable than most of the options at the box stores. The high-output burner is no joke and quickly brings water or oil to a boil in a 10 qt. boiler. I haven’t used a bigger pot yet but pretty confident it will get the job done plus some. Super easy to use and has good quality fittings and hose for the gas hookup. Great for backyard cookouts, tailgating, and camping.

Powerful burner; useless pressure controller
Easy to setup. I think I will use it at a low setting most of the time! At the highest setting the blue flame is about 12" high!!! Looks like an afterburner! I like that the control valve is near the tank, and not on the burner. Sturdy enough for large pots. All the necessities and no frills. THAT SAID, the pressure control valve is virtually useless. It is flimsy, does not stay in the same place, and does NOT give you the ability to carefully control the flow of propane, which means you cannot carefully control heat. I fussed with it for 3 hours during a chili cook off yesterday. I will replace it today.

Powerful and Portable Propane Burner
I purchased this to replace an older burner that had stopped working.Pros:1) Powerful - the BTU rating of this burner (60,000 BTUs) is much higher than burners in this price range offered by other companies. I have used this for turkey/fish fries, and a crawfish boil, and it is very good at getting to temperature quickly.2) The throttle valve is very effective at even minor flow changes. It also holds flow constant after being set. Before using it, I was worried that the high output of the burner would result in difficulties in fine adjustments to the propane throttle flow - no issues.3) The burner disassembles into two parts - the lower section with the legs can be unscrewed and flipped around to minimize the overall size for storage and transport. My biggest gripe with other burners is how big and unruly they can be to store. After flipping the leg section around, I store the burner in its original box.4) Platform that holds the pot is sufficiently large to hold a wide range of pots/pans5) Burner is sturdy and the paint/finish has been durable so far (15 months).Cons:None so far.

Exactly what I expected
I bought this to boil wort for a home brewing setup. It works fantastic for that. I got a rolling boil pretty quick while it was in the 30's outside. Here is what I don't like:-They always paint the tops of these things. Expect it to burn off, stink horribly, turn white. What doesn't burn off will flake all over the place. I know it looks better painted, but it's annoying.-For some reason, every time I lite this thing, the flame shoots back up the burner and I get a little flame at the end of the hose where the air inlet is located. It blows out easily enough, but I don't like flame where it's not supposed to be, so watch for that.-I think a better hose would be nice, but it does regulate the flame from full on to low flame reasonably well. I did get a kick out of the label that says to keep flammables 10 feet away, and the hose is 2 feet long. Here is what I like:-My 12 gallon pot fits on it perfectly, of course your results might be different, but my pot is wider than tall and the base fits just inside the ring while sitting on the platform bars. The top ring is nice and large.-It's very stable. I never felt like the pot was going to rock or parboil me if I bumped it by accident.-People say these things are loud, but I don't really think it's that loud. Certainly louder than your grill, but once you hit temp you can crank it down to sustain temp. That's much quieter, and more fuel efficient. It sounds about like if you went to your car and released a bunch of air out of your valve stem.I think it's a perfect stove for brewing, with sufficient temp control and plenty of power. I'm sure it would work great for frying stuff, or pretty much anything that requires large amounts of hot liquid.

Great burner for homebrew and outdoor cooking
I've camped out with my cooker on many occasions as I've crafted 5-gallon batches of beer in the garage (with adequate ventilation, of course!). It works very well and is plenty sturdy for holding large brew pots full of water and wort for full-boil batches. (It also keeps me out of the kitchen, which is a plus since I'm the only one in the household who loves the smell of wort in the morning.) I usually have mine hooked up and ready to cook, but the fact that the legs can be reversed for more compact storage and transport is a big plus. I picked up the bag for this cooker as well (great purchase -- well made like the cooker itself), so I'm all set for using it on car camping trips. I'm very happy I picked up this cooker and I've toyed with the idea of picking up another for my HLT.

Works like a charm
This burner works very well. It gets hot hot hot which is what i wanted.Very well made and sturdy. Have boiled water, soup, fried chicken and used the single grill top on it to make burgers.Very convenient due to the smaller form factor. Perfect for camping. Stows away small enough....but powerful enough to do some serious cooking.

Double check for level
The boiler ring was slightly bent causing the legs to be a bit wobbly. I really needed to use it right away, so I didn't return it. I think it's a good product and one that every large family can use. My advice is to check the packaging well before opening and check the ring and legs for level. I really should have returned it and gotten a replacement. It was delivered a day late and appeared to have been repackaged.
