The Incredible Hulk: An Origin Story Hardcover – Picture Book, November 15, 2011

I bought this for my 3-year old soon who is starting to show some interest in some comic book characters. I didn't want to fully expose him just yet to the movies or the actual comics themselves. I found the origin story books to be a great option to introduce my son to super heroes. The books have great illustrations coupled with good story lines and morals. I feel that they are great option for parents looking to expose their budding super heroes to the basic premise of comics and the world of Marvel. I'm now in the process of buying the entire set because my little man has enjoyed them so much.

I got this book along with Spiderman, Thor, Iron Man, Captain America and the Avengers books. My grand kids love them!! Every time they spend the night, I have to read at least 2 or 3 of them. They love the pictures of the characters in the books and the stories. I like the hardbound feature and the paper pages are thicker than other kids books. Definitely a must buy if you have boys that are in to any of the super heroes.

I bough this book for my four year old son who is really into the Marvel movies that have recently come out. I figured this book, plus the others in the series, would be a good introduction for him and I couldn't have been more right. It has basic information on the origin of The Hulk, nice illustrations and it is easy to read and follow along.

This was a present for my grandchild (4 yrs) who is a fanatic of Hulk character, although he does not read yet he enjoyed looking the pictures and hearing our reading of the text, up till now he still wants to see the book from time to time. The pages are made with strong paper avoiding tear and wear, and the covers are hard enough to survive children usage.

I got this book for my two year old son and he loves it. He is a bit youg to understand the entire concept but he gets the basics. I have been looking for books that his dad can read to him that they both can enjoy and these books (we also have the Spiderman and Iron Man) are perfect!

My 5 year old, super-hero obsessed son received this for Christmas. This is probably the best super-hero book we have. The colors and details of the illustrations are beautiful, the text is simple but still tells a story, and it gives a little insight to the character. He was beside himself. This is a must for any Hulk fan!

My son was 3 when I showed him the book. A little advanced, but he loved looking at pictures and listening to story. Today, at 4, he still loves it. Great pics and short story to follow.

My son is Avenger mad, he's 3 and loves me reading this book to him, the pictures are amazing although the stories are a little old for him, he doesn't mind and will grow into them.My only negative is the paper cover, it's not very practical for little ones and because it has the superhero's face split 50/50 across the back my son refuses to have it taken off, over time it will get damaged and the board cover underneath is not as good.Have bought 4 of these so far and will probably buy more!
