Saved my ankle during crash!
Had these boots for about a month now. I was reluctant to buying them since many reviews said that they were not suitable for street riding. They were stiff in the ankle in the beginning, changing gears and breaking was difficult but with more use it becomes easier. Since I don’t ride that much, I’m still in the process of breaking them in. On a sport bike the gear shifter is small so it’s hard to put my foot under the lever, due to the bulk of the shoe at the toe. These are obviously dirt bike boots but I wanted something that would protect my leg if the bike was to fall on top of me. It’s understandable that they aren’t ideal for a sport bike, but it’s doable. Overall, I am satisfied with these boots! The other day, I was at an intersection and someone rear ended my bike, stopping the truck on my ankle by the time they realized they hit me. I couldn’t free my foot out from under the tire, but the rigidity of the boots protected me from all the weight of the vehicle. If I was in regular sneakers, my ankle would have been crushed! I am very thankful that I invested my money in these boots. Only damage to the boot was that the buckle popped off from the three screws that hold it in place, easy fix. Regardless of the incident, they are incredibly sturdy and I will continue to use these boots!

Great boots for the price!
After dropping my bike on my leg, I decided to upgrade from riding in hiking boots. I have about 80 hours of ride time with these boots. The boots were very stiff at first, but after a couple break-in tricks and a few rides they were comfortable. The fairly ridged sole makes standing on the pegs much more comfortable. The reinforcement on the sides of the boots making squeezing the bike with my legs much easier and I don’t have to worry about heat from the exhaust pipe. They keep my feet dry from splashes of water or light rain, but let water in quickly if partially submerged for a few second during river crossings. I also adjusted my shift lever so shifting with thick boot toe was easy. The longevity of the buckles is questionable but they haven’t broke so far and seem to be replaceable. These boots have done a great protecting me and there has been several occasions where I feel they have protected me from an injury that would have occurred without proper gear. I wear a 10.5 shoe and order size 10 boot and it was the right size for me. I think this a great boot for budget conscious people who need a solid pair of off road boots.

Good boots!
So I haven’t been able to actually ride in them yet. However I can provide some insight. If you’re in between sizes. Go ahead and get the smaller size. I wear an 11.5 usually and got a 12 because I thought having it a little big wouldn’t hurt. But when I got them and tried them on, I was tightening the straps all the way down and my foot was still moving a lot! So I returned them and got the 11s instead and these fit great! They look pretty water resistant which is good. One thing I should mention (just because I didn’t think about it) is you’ll have to probably adjust your shift lever and brake lever. I sat on my bike and I couldn’t even put my toes under the lever to shift. But I’ll just adjust it and it should be good to go. I’ll update if I have any notable comments once I actually get to test these while riding.Edit: ok so I finally got around to riding with these on. I adjusted my shift lever so I can get my toe under it to shift. I’m going to tweak with it some more because I don’t think I can get enough of my foot under. One thing I noticed was I really couldn’t feel when I was shifting due to the thickness of the boot. So I was 100% guessing the entire time. I missed a few times shifting into neutral rather than 2nd. Also it was very muddy out! I was in about ankle to high shin deep mud a lot of the time! These boots kept like 95% of the water and 100% of the mud out! Also these provided great traction when I was trying to pull my bike out of a ditch or mud. They held up incredibly well! So as long as I can figure the shifting problem out, I’ll be good to go!

Riding boots
Fit, warmth, and comfort was great! Only dislike was the side strength. Had a stick shoved through the side of them when i was riding through the woods but other than that a good boot.

Highly recommend them great boot for the price
I heard a lot of criticism about these boots, but I was able to break them in in about eight hours where they're very usable.Actually watched a video where a guy recommended doing some movement with the boots before you can get in them, but I just believe you need to strap them on do some squats and go work around in the yard.Come back in and do some more squats..Bottom line, the more you stress the material with aggressive movement, the sooner they'll become very pliable and workable. And obviously yeah, gonna use the same techniques to soften them up.
