5yr old LOVES the ball. He hops all over the house with it. Finally after an hour I told him he needed to give his legs a rest. (We have hardwood floors so it bounces really well and makes the funniest sound as A is bouncing around the house. Very cute and funny to watch him do a circuit around the house. 4yr old likes to sit or lay out on it and hasn't quite managed the bouncing part with out falling off. **The ball is kind of tricky to blow up at least for me. The plug puller works like it is suppose but be aware.... the air comes swooshing out really fast so be prepared with the plug to put back in ASAP. It does bounce better on hard surface and isn't really designed to bounce outside as it picks up every bit of dirt and am assuming it will eventually pop which wouldn't be much fun. It comes with a hand pump which does the job. Be aware when filling up for the first time, that you will have to fill it up several times - read instructions regarding that.

Bought this for my 3yr old daughter because she uses these in gymnastics class and has been begging me for one! She LOVES it! I read all of the reviews on these and other ones like it and this one seemed the best and so far I'm really happy with it! Textured bottom, sturdy textured handle, room to grow, thick rubber, easy to blow up, bright purple color and cute picture. My daughter has been hopping around the house all day! I would be comfortable with her using this outside as well with the thicker textured bottom. This hippity hop is really well made! Great price too!

My son (age 4) has SPD and is very active. His OT recommended a similar product and I purchased this one because it was easier to locate and less expensive. So far its worked great for him and he really enjoys it. We also have a mini trampoline, but he likes to jump on this a lot more. It doesn't take up much space and its pretty safe for him to use in the living room or outside on the grass. I wish it was a little thicker/sturdier material - though it has held up so far, I am afraid it will get punctured easily.

I will have to say this hippity hop is by far the best purchase of bouncy toys I’ve ever purchased. My 4yr old and 8 yr old who never play with each other will spend hours on end bouncing all over the house and out in the back yard and with these hippity hops. I accidentally bought two pink ones for my daughters birthday and instead of returning it my 8 yr old son insisted on keeping it because he was having so much fun bouncing on it.. he is a very hyper active non stop boy so anything that keeps him busy for more than 5 mins wins my heart. But instead he literally will spend most of his day bouncing with his little sister every where they can bounce.

I bought this as a birthday gift for a 5 year old. I loved these bouncy balls as a child in gym class. The ball comes with a convenient foot pump. However, we chose to use our air compressor as was a bit easier and much quicker. The foot pump is a really nice bonus if you do not have an air compressor available. The ball is strong and sturdy. However, I would not recommend using it on rocks or on a driveway in fear that it may get punctured. The graphics on the side are a nice additional touch. I gave this to my three-year-old granddaughter for Christmas. It inflates easily with the included pump. Her 6-year-old brother showed her how to ride it (he loved it too) and even though she is a little small for it yet she gamely bounced around the house until she was whupped. Probably best to use it in a setting where you can't run into things like furniture. don't know how it'd hold up outside or on concrete.

opened on Christmas morning and already popped- not even a week later. child playing with it is 3 yr/old & 35#. however the time that it was operating the child did enjoy!

Brilliant! It's more than I would usually pay for one of these but I needed a present for my nephew in a hurry, good old Amazon prime was called up and off we went. I have to say I was very pleased with it. The rubber seems more durable than the ones I have bought my daughter. It seems to withold a lot of abuse as well. My husband spent most of Sunday booting it round with the kids. An absolute winner@@

My son enjoyed playing with it the first few days . Now he completely forgot about it. It is good quality but slightly big for a 19 months old.
