not bad strap however in my opinion it's way TOO long, completely unnecesary. I cut it and make it to the desire length so now it fits me perfectly and it helps hold my rucksack in position

My husband uses these on his rucksack when out hiking. He says they are great. Good quality and do the job very well. They are secure and sturdy.He gives them 5 stars!

Cranked this cable up on ranger roll (poncho liner, sherpa fleece, emergency blanket and poncho liner stacked) and the plastic clasp broke.
