Andy Gibb: Greatest Hits

I had Andy Gibb's posters hanging up in my bedroom as a young girl and I listened to his cassette tapes til they wore out. I grew up and life went on but I always enjoyed hearing the Bee Gees and Andy Gibb on the radio. I had this CD in cassette form for years, and I wanted the CD. I ordered it and it also included the "Audio Rip" version as well. I was listening to it before the CD came in the mail. This is a must for any Andy Gibb fan. All his best songs are on this one CD, my favorite being "Love Is Ticker Than Water". I outgrew the Andy Gibb posters on the wall but not the songs. I am enjoying this CD as much today as I did then, probably even more since he has passed and this is what he left behind. He might have been the baby Bee Gee brother but he was a talented man in his own right. It's too bad he passed away so young or we might have more of his music to listen to. He left us in his prime. I would recommend this CD to anyone who loved Andy Gibb.

I have been waiting and searching for Andy Gibb's hits compilation CD for ages and when this compilation comes along, I ordered it straight away. I am sure glad I did.This remaster oozes quality! The bass notes hit you with power and depth and the sound reproduction is quiet and every note comes through clear and crisp. There is no liner notes to speak of, which is a great shame. Some history of this promising young artist who died a premature death from drug abuse would be a great compliment.The music world would have been so much different had young Andy continued his collaboration with his brothers- Maurice, Barry and Robin. Listen to songs on this CD that were produced by his brothers who also had written most of the songs and you will find out why.Andy has the most beautiful and sensual voice among the Gibb brothers. If you love the Bee Gees, then this should be the CD to treasure and cherish.

I am an avid GIbb brothers fan. I am a return fan, but always a fan regardless. I am 44 and very well remember andy in the mid to late 70's and the 80's right up untill his way to early and untimely death with heart failure. Now Maurice and Robin Gibb are dead and one man left is Barry Gibb. I bought this to remember Andy and the Gibb brothers and my love for their artistic tallent, moreso than their fame or popularity. This was a great buy and the seller was so nice. Thank you for a very great item, it was worth the money.

Andy Gibb Greatest Hits is everthing I expected and than some, I loved him when he first came out and with this cd of Andy I can listen to it and it takes me back to a place and time when things were so much better and clean and the music was music not what is out there today using ugly words and machines, today the way things are done anyone can become a singer and star and not put half the work Andy and his brothers the great Bee Gees Barry,maurice and Robin put into their music and the hard work they done to get to the top their music is what I call great .....

The condition of the CD was good but the case was covered with large cracks. Perhaps it happened during the delivery? Fortunately there were no pieces of the case missing.

I have always had a special place in my heart for Andy Gibb. It broke my heart with his young, untimely death. I have always loved the Bee Gees and the disco era. This CD has all his great hits and then some. I am enjoying every minute of listening to it and highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of his.

The Gibbs were a very talented group of men who will not be seen again. Andy died way too young but made quite a mark on the music world great CD .

aber leider viel zu früh verstorben. Sicher hätte man von ihm noch viele tolle Songs erwarten können. Viel Ähnlichkeit mit seinen Brüdern- auch stimmlich. Tolle Gruppe .Leider ist nur noch Barry da.

Purtroppo mancato prematuramente, Andy fratello minore dei più famosi Bee Gees, questa raccolta ripercorre la sua carriera, ottimi brani scritti con i fratelli e si sente, bello il duetto con Olivia Newton-John
