Works efficiently and perfectly
This product works extremely quickly and perfectly. Used in my axolotl aquarium to raise the pH and KH as pH was 6.6 and KH was blank zero, used this as within a few hours, pH was raised to 7.4 and KH was 4. I then re dosed 1 mL as a slight nudge and again, was a pH of 7.6 and KH of 5, perfect for my axolotl. Seachem is a brand I will always trust!

Great stuff
Great stuff, I just used a little a day to move my tank to where I wanted it. Worked perfectly

Does what it is supposed to
My tap water has a very low KH (1d) and a reasonably high pH (7.5). Because of this the pH can be unstable in my 125 litre community tank. I use the Alkaline Buffer along with the Acid Buffer to raise my KH by 2 or 3 degrees without affecting my pH. The Buffers are easy to use and last for quite a while, depending on what tub size you go for. All of my fish, including the sensitive German Blue Rams, are happy and healthy.

Works
Works as intended. Tested water the next day and water was perfect. Good value as only use a tiny bit. Fish appear happy and no deaths. Water remains clear.

Does work
Did the job. Noticed my tank went low on PH. Two treatments later, 2 mins of effort .... aquarium si back to healthy 7.6ph.

Great for maintaining the correct PH
Always use this when doing water changes as I am in a soft water area, a lot cheaper than my nearest aquatic shop, water is always clear, and the PH perfect, I always put it in the bucket before adding the clean water, it dissolves better that way, have not noticed any smell from use.

Does what it’s supposed to do. Over the course of several months, I’ve only had to use it a couple of times, and a little goes a long way. Haven’t noticed any difference in fish behavior. Or snails or shrimp, so definitely fish/invert safe. The water was cloudy but went away within 24 hours. Boosted my ph, which was sitting at a steady 6.4 no matter how many water changes I did (tap water ph reads at 8.8) and it’s stayed at a steady 7.4. Easy to use with the directions and suggested quantities on the label. I suppose you could eyeball it but I have some sensitive species so I went ahead and used a scale for precise measurements. Overall recommend
