Their journey is funny,sad humorous and full of pitfalls but in the end they figure it out. JS Scott did it again. I love this series. I. Can’t wait to see Wyatt fall into the love trap! This book is for mature readers 18 and above.

The missing friend, the billionaire rescuer and an emotional rollercoaster have you turning the pages to see how these two people find their way to a happy ending. I enjoyed this romance with its interesting characters and drama riddled path towards complete happiness.

Savannah, an investigative journalist, has disappeared. Her best friend, Torie Montgomery, is certain of this because Savannah would always check in with her. Previously, Torie had been kidnapped and was saved by her husband and a team known as Last Hope, which included the Durand brothers, Chase and Wyatt, along with other veterans of the elite armed forces. Chase joined the team after an injury forced him to retire from the SEALs, despite being an outstanding helicopter pilot. His career ended abruptly when his team was ambushed during a mission briefing, leading to a lengthy hospital recovery. Learning that Savannah was held by a rogue cartel where she was conducting an investigation, Wyatt and Chase are determined to be her rescuers. In the process, Chase aids in her recovery, and they discover a mutual attraction that has grown over the years, partly due to their connection through Torie, their younger sister. I found this story to be well-crafted and am eager to read the next installment in the Billionaire's Obsession series. I highly recommend both the series and this book.

This novel had so many twists and turns but it really brought it all together. Vanna and Chase storyline was awesome and amazing. It showed how deep love could overcome anything as long as they communicated.

Chase and Savannah have know each other most of their lives. Chase's sister Torie is Savannah best friend. They meet up again at Torie's wedding, and Chase is captivated by Savannah, but she doesn't seem interested. Savannah is kidnapped in another country while filming her show. Chase and Wyatt decide they are the ones going to rescue her. Chase bring Her to his home to recover and the sparks fly. Loving this series great character, suspense, life threatening situations and hot and steam Sex!

I really like this author's books, but I guess after reading all of her books, they seem to be more alike than different. And, really....(spoiler alert) billionaire takes his girlfriend to a high-end restaurant and gets attacked walking to their car in a parking lot?!?! Really? Not believable even for a make-believe book. How about the valet gets mugged and that attacker replaces the valet to get to his intended victims. I haven't preordered the next book, yet.

Chase and Savannah have each wanted the other for a while. Both are afraid to express their feelings and potentially suffer heartbreak. When Chase rescues Savannah from kidnappers it gives them a chance to connect on another level. Unfortunately they draw things out because they're scared. A little less uncertainty would have been better but they eventually got there with a lot of heat. 4.5 stars
