Install Kool Kap condensing unit protective cover.
I have a Goodman 2 1/2 ton central unit with a gas furnace/AC combo. I hand held the cover where hinges were and turned AC on. Then moved cover around to all 4 sides too see where the condenser fan produced the best air flow. Each side had a different air flow. After that I permanently attached the cover on the side with strongest air flow. WORKS GREAT!

Keeps leaves and debris out of unit.
I installed my cover at the end of the season. I did get some use during operating the a/c unit. And never had a problem it opened everytime and closed. I bought it mainly for New England winter to keep snow and ice out since wrapping the unit could rust the system out. We will see if it survives the weight of the snow without splitting.

Does it’s job and cheaper than having ac company install it
I just received it today and quickly and easily installed. So far works as it should as it pops up when unit it is on and comes back down into place when unit switches off. I was recommended to this product by my ac guy when i asked how i would keep leaves from getting in the top of my ac unit. He said his company would install but would be significant mark up and told me the name of the product. There is no reason anyone cannot install this quickly and easily!

A/C top cover
Honestly I bought this product is great but was the same size that already have to small I personally bought by mistake I which they sale it bigger then that size like a 30, 32 34 inches. Is a great product. Thank you, Jose I Medina Deltona

Air circulation and keeping the unit clean
This one was thicker and heavier than the one my friend bought years ago. It doesn’t lift as high and that is a concern for me that enough air is getting out.

The kool caps work very good keeping most debri out of unit.

Not worth the money
Good luck trying to obtain a refund on a return with this seller. They were very difficult to deal with and they tried to charge me an additional fee for the returned saying parts were missing. I am thankful to Amazon for having the A-Z refund as part of any purchase. The kap for the ac being sold by this seller is NOT worth the money.
