Stop wasting money on paper filters. This makes a MUCH nicer, smoother cup of coffee.
Stop buying paper filters and use this instead. The coffee that is brewed using this device tastes SO much better than the coffee which is brewed through a paper filter using a drip cup. I am really pleased with this item because of the way it looks, the design, the tastes of the coffee it brews and the high quality of it.Honestly, I wish I had bought one of these sooner. I had been using a Hario VD-01T Plastic Coffee Dripper, which is also sold on Amazon for £5 Hario VD-01T 1-Piece Plastic Coffee Dripper, Clear, but that broke recently so I needed to replace it. I was going to just buy another one of those but I also saw the E-PRANCE coffee filter as well which looked a lot nicer. To be honest, I wasn't too sure as I didn't know how fine the fixed metal mesh filter was and I was worried that some coffee grinds would get through the filter and in to the cup. When I was using paper filters I usually had to use two filters to make sure this didn't happen. The item arrived in a really nice looking box which reflected the quality of the item. It's made of stainless steel and it rather shiny. I like shiny :)After giving it a quick wash I decided to make myself a fresh coffee and followed the instructions that are included with the item.If you didn't already know, you should pour just enough water on the coffee grinds to cover them and let them bloom for 30 seconds. It really improves the flavour and the coffee. Then slowly pour on more water but never to the point where the coffee grinds start to float. (as per the included instructions).I noticed that although I was pouring the water on much slower than what I did when using paper filters, the water seemed to flow through quicker which worried me a little as I thought it may lead to a weaker coffee taste.I was quite wrong though. The coffee tasted SO much better than what I had been able to brew using a drip cup and paper filters. I am not sure why or how but it's just the way it is.Interesting is the fact that the end of the cone of the filter is capped so the brewed coffee filters through the side of the very fine mesh which is cool as it works very well. It's also very useful to be able to see in to the cup as the coffee is filling the cup. This is something that wasn't possible with the Hario VD-01T Plastic Coffee Dripper.Overall I am really happy with this item. It's looks great, it's made very well, it works brilliantly, it makes a great cup of coffee and I no longer have to buy paper filters. If you considering buying a drip cup coffee filter/maker or already have one and are about to buy more paper filters, trust me, get one of these instead. They are so worth the money E-PRANCE Pour Over Coffee Filter, Honeycomb Design Stainless Steel Cone Coffee Dripper, Paperless & Reusable, Permanent Pour Over Coffee Maker with Separate Stand for 1-4 cups

Helped me cut sugar from my daily coffees AND encourages recycling
Great dripper, had mine for 2 months now using regularly each day. This is the first time i REALLY enjoy coffee minus the milk and sugar, it makes a really nice brew that's not clogged with bits at the bottom, in fact, it's not stronger at the bottom either, it's just really nice all the way through the cup.I went from drinking instant with milk and sugar, to a tassimo machine (Plastic discs), to cafeterria (So much cleaning for a single cup), and now with this filter i've stripped out any instant coffee, milk AND sugar, no more plastic discs and no more dirty sinks. Any wastage goes straight into our compost bins so it's good for environment and myself.I also enjoy making the coffee, although some don't like the wait it's not a bad thing to switch off from your daily 'grind' for 2 minutes and enjoy flowing the water through the grounds. You can of course load the filter up with water and get your drink quick, but i much prefer to keep topping it and not let the grounds float - it's not a huge difference if you flood it, but it does taste better and is way easier to clean if you don't overflow it all.One thing i will say, however, is that if you're grinding beans yourself make sure you don't overdo it and make them too fine because it makes the filter run really slow due to the smaller grounds clogging (temporality) the mesh, and it almost turns to a paste at the bottom of the filter. Even when this happens it still makes a great coffee, but it slows the whole process down un-necessarily and you always end up with extra water in the bottom which you need to dispose off, or give a stir to.

Useful, a bit messy, only good for 1
Great first cup of coffee, wish I could let the coffee brew before putting into my cup. Have to clean out after every use, as second time round the filter dripped much slower.Do not see me purchasing again, unless it broke. Very pleased with this purchase

No paper filters anymore!
I’ve been using a plastic funnel and filter papers for years. This has changed all that. Coffee tastes better and there is less waste. The coffee flows through perhaps slightly more slowly than a paper filter so coffee is strong. The only possible downside is that the funnel is smaller so I have to refill it with hot water more frequently to make a large cup of strong coffee.I’m finding that there are few or no drips from the funnel that need to be caught - the coffee filters into a single narrow flow from the base of the funnel. It’s a clever design!I find a good rinse and wiping it with my fingertips gets nearly all residue out after use.I’m pleased with this purchase!

Amazing, ended up buying three
I wasn't certain what to expect, as I have had poor experiences of coffee filters in the past. However, this is a joy to use and filters the coffee very well. There is only ever the smallest amount of very fine silt left in the cup when used. This is the only difference from using a good quality paper filter and this Eco friendly filter. I even use this to fill my Cafetiere now as it filters the coffee better. The fact that with every use I know that I have not wasted paper and not produced plastic waste is a massive bonus for me. Hopefully this is something you can appreciate also. The sellers are friendly and helpful. After a few days they had sent me instruction on how to clean the filter, if clogged, with baking soda and warm water. They also offered me their lifetime warranty and let me know if I had any problems to simply contact them. They nailed it, great product, great customer service. Will be recommending and gifting this to many more people ^_^
