Previously the vet had told me that whilst his tail had healed from the 1st time he injured it that it probably wouldn't get any better than it was
I bought these for myself and had some left over, so when my dog (a spaniel) re-opened his tail tip wound I applied one of these. Previously the vet had told me that whilst his tail had healed from the 1st time he injured it that it probably wouldn't get any better than it was. So when he damaged it again a couple of months later, I applied these dressings regularly for a week. A few weeks later we were at the vet for something else and I asked her to check his tail whilst we were there and she was amazed at how much extra it had healed and that was even after a 2nd injury. So I shall be keeping these in my first aid box from now on for me and the dog! Special note for any other spaniel or lab owners - if you need to apply these, try and get them on as quickly as possible to avoid them trying to eat it!

My very slow healing wound now seems to be improving.
I have a small open wound which despite various attempts to clean and heal doesn't seem to be making a lot of progress. Even though I have only been using these dressings for a few days there is a marked improvement and the infection seems to be going and there is also a marked improvement in the appearance of the wound as it looks a lot cleaner so hopefully time will tell but I feel confident that I did the right thing in buying these dressings as I am sure they will promote new healthy tissue and help the wound to heal.

Loads of Manuka honey on a quality medium.
A lot of honey, so can be a bit messy if outer dressing used is inadequate. This dressing supplies the Manuka to just the right place and is proving to be very effective (so far).

Almost Miraculous
Have had a nasty leg ulcer for years that flared up badly recently. So painful that I couldn't walk and went to hospital. They dressed it with Manuka honey (NB one reviewer says shame NHS doesn't use it - fortunately they do sometimes - this was at St Charles Minor Injuries London). Three days later much better. Bought more on Amazon (this the same as the NHS uses) - and a week later almost completely healed and completely pain free. Really almost miraculous - buy this if you have a painful wound/sore that won't heal.

Wonderful stuff
Got this as a last resort for my Dad's radiodermatitis sore, which the hospital said would never heal and he'd just have to live with it. We used these each day and within a month the difference was remarkable. It hasn't cleared up completely yet but it is a 100 times better than it had been for the previous year. If only we could get them on the NHS!

Very disappointed in this product
I ordered this expensive product for my Dad, he had badly burnt his wrist & all that turned up was a soggy piece of honey soaked material with no instructions. Complete waste of money!

Honey is the only dressings that keeps the diabetic wound ...
Honey is the only dressings that keeps the diabetic wound free of infection although I have not used silver or iodine. I got this one because it has a seaweed element to keep the wound moist and it was advised by the TVN.
