Some reviews are critical but I LOVE this product! It looks great, sounds great (well, I think so!), is techno-phobe-user-friendly, and very reasonably priced. In fact, I was so pleased with it, I immediately ordered a second one. So, while it may not suit those with higher demands, it's absolutely perfect for me!

I ordered this for my daughter, in white. Looks really smart. It is light weight so it would easily fix to wall. On the stand it is stable but you need to be a bit careful not to knock it over. This isn't a reason not to buy it though. Remote control works really well. Sound is good for this price product used in a bedroom. I had an issue with it arriving without the remote control. 3 wise monkeys who supplied it were really excellent. Replied to my initial email within 24 hours and sent the remote in the correct colour within 2 working days. Very good service from them. I would use this supplier again.

Bought as a Christmas present in October to replace a portable CD player, opened on Christmas morning and the CD player doesn’t work (disc doesnt spin). Past the return window now so I can’t get a refund. Frustrating. It’s fine for a lightweight player for a kids room, though for the price not the highest quality. This one will have to be thrown.[update] after contacting amazon customer service - refund and return has been processed - thanks.

We bought this unit to replace an archaic one that had got well past its sell by date.Came well packaged. Design is pleasing to the eye. Setup was straight forward. Operation as radio or CD player - yes we still listen to CDs - by haven’t used the alarm function yet. The light from the display is too bright and it’s impossible to check the time during the night without having to raise up from the covers - maybe it should have been installed on a lower unit.All in all though, we’re happy with our purchase.

I guess you get what you pay for. Cheap and cheerful, looks lovely and does what it says but sounds poor. If you want quality sound it's worth spending the extra

I bought it because it looked neat and didn't take up much room but unfortunately the sound is very tinny, possibly because there isn't enough depth for decent speakers. Also when you press the push buttons to tune the radio or change to CD, the plastic panel pushes in too which feels very flimsy. Not worth £40 never mind the full £60 price. I had to return it straight away.

So OK if you want top quality then this product is not for you. However if, like me, you want a simple radio/CD/clock unit for the bedroom, study or garage then this fits the bill. Sound quality not bad and good array of features for such a unit. CD player easy to use and with aerial correctly positioned the radio is pretty good too. Note it is NOT digital! Only fiddly bit was setting time via remote but maybe that was just me? Mains plug in could be better as need to ensure the lead is carefully pushed into the stem of the stand. Overall, 4 plus out of 5. Bought 2 and happy with what I got for what I paid.

My 7 year old daughter got this for Christmas, and she loves it. Its easy to use and the sound quality is more than adequate for her use. the remote control function she loves along with the AUX point for her mp3 player. Its looks nice in her bedroom and doesn't take up lots of space on the shelf.
