Loombot Circular Knitting Machine
This little CKM is sturdy and smooth..... My parents purchased the other brand (pink with white trim). I bought this more for the color combo of Aqua and White. I had an extra piece of Corian from my countertops. The suction cups secured on the surface without any effort. After casting on it cranks away smoothly and is quieter than I expected. I am curious if Replacement Parts are available should I need to replace any part in the future? I am a very experienced flatbed knitter, this little machine should be fun to use. I am hoping to donate items to the local Cancer Center.

Does the Job
We have both a loombot and a sentro and we thought they were the same. They are not. This is definitely for a child as it is lighter and doesn't feel as sturdy as the sentro. But it works well, for the most part. Our only complaints are the suction cups are worthless and the counter isn't always accurate - it gets stuck, but just keeping an eye on it works for us.

Loombot works great!
Loombot was an easy setup. Was making hats 20 minutes out of the box. However, I did study many videos with tips and tricks before I received. I am an experienced crocheter which came in handy for finishing work. Have made over 20 items ( hats, scarfs and hand and head warmers) with no issues. I love this thing! It's fast and addicting! This is more than a toy and more suited to adults or teenagers. There is a learning curve, so study-up before using!

Love it
This machine saved my sadness! I have tried 2 Sorentos and the panels were not working at all. As you can see this machine has done a nice long panel with no problems! This machine is also on the heavy side which makes it easier to use. The needles are pointier on top to let the yarn slip over it a little easier also.

Loombot Runs Well on most Yarns BUT
I love the LOOMBOT Circular Knitting Machine. got more pins than the addi and costs WAY Less. And it runs yarns that don't do well on the Addi. The only bad thing about this wonderful unit is the counter is not always accurate - suggest buying a separate generic row counter so your projects come out right every time. Loombot started off as a toy, but it works great... would recommend ANYONE who is just starting out to purchase the LOOMBOT instead of the Addi.. to see if you enjoy it. Addi machines are workhorses - nothing bad to say about them, i love them too. Just that the Loombot makes a little wider circle (Great for adult beanies) and costs a LOT less. they just need to improve their Counter !

Complete Waste
This toy/machine was impossible to use. We bought two for our 11 year old and 9 year old daughters. We have spent countless attempts trying to get them to work. The yarn has to be perfect, the machine skips stitches, the handle is cheap, and ultimately they were a very expensive, frustrating waste of plastic, time and money. Save yourself the headache!

Loombot
It's okay to make hats and scarfs with but plastic parts can break if not careful with it
