I love it!
The media could not be loaded. This product is really good for people who are transitioning from circle drills to square, it's not complicated at all and I haven't had to worry about static or clumpy drills ever! I recommend this product to anyone who wants to try diamond painting:))

Fair Introduction Into The Diamond Painting World
I went into this a complete novice when it comes to diamond painting, but I’ve seen diamond painting everywhere and have always wanted to check it out. I’m a crafty person; I crochet (my true passion), I sketch, I love to paint (although I’m awful at it), I’ve given embroidery and cross stitch a fair shot, I learned to hand knit a few weeks ago, and macrame is on the to do list… I just love to create in general. My brain and hands have to be doing something crafty and creative at all times unless I’m sick or asleep. I do get burnt out though so I thought diamond painting could be a nice way to fill the void when I’m in a block. The kits are very nice. You get a long rectangular box and each canvas is rolled up separately with all of the drills (aka diamonds), the pen, the tray, the wax, and 20 small ziplocks secured inside of the canvas. The instructions are found on the bottom of each canvas but they are extremely vague. They seem to be written for someone who has at least some basic knowledge of the craft. After a couple videos and a few “tips and tricks” articles I was ready to begin.I started out using a sharpie to label each bag of diamonds with the symbol associated (the symbol key is found in two places on the canvas). If you have bad eyesight (🙋🏼♀️) this can be a chore. I then sorted all of my bags and tools and got started. About two hours in I realized I mislabeled my first bag and had placed a bunch of the wrong color diamonds. 😱 Luckily, I’m so slow it was barely a corner of the canvas and I was able to remove them and start over without losing any stickiness on the canvas. It’s been pretty smooth, albeit slow, sailing from there.I wanted to wait to post my review until I had finished at least one of the canvases but when I say I’m slow, I mean slow as molasses. So I’ll just say that as a nature lover, I think the images are beautiful and I love how everything came packaged in its own canvas. I have had some diamonds that I couldn’t use due to extra plastic on the side or an odd circular shape instead of square, but there’s so many extra that is not an issue. I would like to see a pamphlet or guide with a bit more information for the newbies included. Even something as simple as some bullet points and/or small images on how to get your canvas to lay flat, suggestions on how to section the canvas so you can do a bit at a time without jeopardizing the adhesive on the rest of the canvas, what the wax is for and how to use it, how to shake the diamonds in the tray so you get them all laying the correct way, etc. While diamond painting is monotonous and tedious, it is also calming and distracting in an almost meditative way. I think if you enjoy puzzles or coloring you’ll REALLY enjoy diamond painting and if you enjoy nature and/or our National Parks then this is a wonderful kit for you.

Lacks Quality
This kit was short about 10 little ziploc bags and the gems require manual spacing instead of fitting right next to each other. It makes for an annoying project, I wouldn’t recommend this kit when there are higher quality kits out there.

Pretty good diamond painting set!
This set is really nice! It's great that it comes with three different paintings, but also that they're related, so you could easily hang them as a decorative set. The pictures themselves are really big! The biggest ones I've ever done, I think, which is why it took me so long to complete haha. You get everything you need in the set, so even if it's your first try with this hobby you don't have to buy anything else to get started, which is really great. The adhesion is good, the squares are easy to see, so no problems there. I think the only downside I found is that I wasn't fully impressed with the colours. It's not that they weren't vibrant or good quality, but more that they seemed kind of one-dimensional. However this isn't the sort of photo that has a lot of intricate colour blocking, so it makes more sense for this set and isn't really a downside because it doesn't take away from the whole image. It's really up to personal taste I think!Oh, and this set does have square diamonds, which I've found isn't my favourite shape, but that's also a personal preference, and one this painting helped me realise. But I do look forward to doing the other two designs, slowly, but definitely surely!
