I am on the computer 8 hours a day so I found I needed wrist and thumb support as my hands began to hurt. I ordered two, one for each hand as I type all day and I needed the extra thumb support. This product was perfect to help me heal up from the wear and tear on my hands from my repetitive motions each day. They are firm and comfortable and I can wear them as I work. I am easily able to move but it supports my thumbs, which I needed the most. After wearing them for a few weeks my pain had resolved and I am able to just wear them as needed now when my pain flares up.You definitely want to measure your hands to buy the right size so they are not too big or too small because they need to be firm and well fitted so they support you correctly. I am very pleased with this purchase and glad I found this product. They wash well and are as good as new so you don't have to have dirty sweaty smelling products. I wash mine every few days to keep them nice and clean and have never had a problem and just let them air dry.

These neoprene wrist/thumb supports are professional grade. Four sizes offered, s,m,l,xl. I purchased one, size small for my wife, and three, size large for doctor friend at local hospital. Doctor friend wears one on each wrist daily to conduct procedures, and he loves them. They provide moderate support for wrist/thumb, and do not restrict other fingers from moving. Good for long periods of data entry or typing as well. Sizes can fit either hand, they are well-constructed of neoprene with good seem stitching. Comes in beige or black . . the black looks cooler and when dirty doesn't show as much. These can be hand washed in warm water and a small amount of detergent. Let dry naturally is best.

A bit expensive for what it is but I think it will suit my needs. I am a 5'8F and ordered a Lg size feels pretty good and comfortable. If you wish to have more thumb mobility I suggest you buy one with thumb hole cut out. I have been having some pains in wrist/thumb from work so support on the thumb is good for me.

I love this! I work with my hands, wrist and thumb, not to mention that using those parts are used everyday for almost everything we do. I was diagnosed with Dequairvains tenosynovitis ( tendonitis of the thumb and wrist), making it very difficult to do my job. since I still have to work, I purchased two other more metal strengthened braces for work, but discovered that sleeping at night made my thumb horribly sore.I didn’t want to use those other braces to sleep in, so I got this neoprene cut down version that still supports my thumb and wrist. It works GREAT! It does say on the box not recommended for sleeping in, but I have had no problems, and since that is the ONLY time I use it, think it will be fine.I bought two more so I can rotate them to avoid having to wash them as often.

Ouch. I ordered a large. For a large hand. There is no way I could get this on my hand unless I cut my thumb off to get it on, which sort of defeats the whole purpose of it I think. Its supposed to be neoprene and sort-of stretchy, right? Nope, its tough and not stretchy at all.

Well, I succumbed to the pressure of getting this in the only size offered, large, because of the reviews saying how firm it was. It didn’t do a thing for my dislocated thumb, but smelled like a dirty shoe one day later, as did my hand. I gave it a three, because it MAY be helpful for someone needing “large”. I couldn’t return it because I cut the thumb shorter. I have meanwhile purchased a small compression glove from another company, and it’s better ventilated and snug.

I have large hands, ordered the XL and it was tight and actually caused more discomfort so it does not work for my situation but may work for others. It was well made and durable.

I have trigger thumb, and there are times when there are jolts of pain shooting through my thumb. I pull on bandage and the pain is gone in minutes. I'm able to continue to work with out the pain. Washing is simple, drying takes a little time. Thinking about ordering another to have as a spare.

Support the thumb quite well, some might not like the position the hand is in while wearing the support, but fir than prolonged periods the support helps relieve arthritic pain.

I bought this for my mother and she hasn't taken it off since purchasing it, it gives her great relief as her thumb is very painful and kt keeps the hand warm as well
