HEXBUG501114 Nano Zip-Line Starter Set, Electronic Toy

These hexbug sets well made and very addictive but this set is my favourite. Kids (aged 5, 7 & 8) initially used it on it's own then when they got a bigger set they linked them and reconfigured it for even more fun. Only downside is that it only comes with a couple of the "clear clips" needed for the zipline to work which, of course, have been lost and found many times!!!!! Wish they'd put a few more in but overall I recommend this as a great present as it's kept the kids happy for hours!

Great, great addition to the hexbug collection....my grandson loves the "whizziness" and its a slightly different take on the way these critters move around. Good play value, good quality and has 't broken yet.

We got this along with a few additional hexbugs for my daughters birthday. It is great fun, though needs an adult to help get it set up, particularly the ramp, as this is a bit tricky for young children and there aren't clear instructions. However once we got the ramp sorted so that the bugs didn't get trapped on the way up, it is great fun watching these little 'creatures' run round the track and slide down the zip wire. Can also be combined with other hexbug sets to create larger tracks and courses.

I bought the Hexbug Nano Zip Line set for my daughter, who is amassing a pretty impressive collection of Hexbug bits and bobs. Though this is designed for the original Hexbugs rather than the V2s, the tiny plastic 'backpack' clips you get in the set will actually fit around your V2 bugs with a bit of a squish and a squeeze.The set comes with all the bits you need to need to set up a closed loop like you see in the product picture but there were a couple of annoyances about this set:1) It seemed to be very tricky to set the spiral part up. The black support struts don't seem to keep the spiral from slightly collapsing on itself, so sometimes the bugs would get stuck trying to climb up the spiral.2) In the end, we got so fed up with trying to keep the spiral 'in place' that we ditched the spiral entirely and just built the other parts of this set into our existing Hexbug layouts.The zip line part is fairly sturdy and well made, it's just a durned shame about the support legs and the spiral parts being a bit naff.

.... This went down so well as a birthday gift, whole family and party of kids loved it, it's made it's way onto a few Xmas gift lists already :)

The bugs couldn’t get through the poorly designed toy that they should have made to measure for bugs to roam around!! Won’t be buying anything else to do with this product

My 6 year old grandson was made up with this to add onto another piece of the Hexbug track. I didn't actually know what I was buying it was just on his Christmas wish list! He seemed very pleased with it and was anxious to show me when we visited and has already had a lot of pleasure out of it. Whether it's good value for money I can't say only that I made on 6 year old very happy!!

This product is of poor quality and does not work, when my daughter in law spoke to the firm selling this product she was told they knew about it not working and the company making the product had told them (what do you expect for the money you have paid). In my opinion this toy was not worth anywhere near what they are charging for it.
