The good is - it keeps coffee hot for quite a while. The ceramic lining seems to prevent any metallic taste in whatever you are drinking.The not so good - the shape of the handle is really uncomfortable to hold! There just isn't a natural position for your fingers to grip onto the handle. And the lid slider doesn't hold up - after just a few months, one of the tabs that holds it onto the lid broke.It's ok, but I was hoping for something better.

I like coffee hot to the last sip but don't like the stainless steel taste with I have experienced with other styles of mugs. This insulted mug is a great improvement.

It's good quality. But definitely has a flavour alteration for tea drinkers. I couldn't use it.Its not a ceramic insert but a ceramic coated (painted?) steel.

I bought this cup to replace a double walled metal cup I've used for years. Not because it no longer kept my coffee hot but for some reason the taste of the coffee just started to taste bitter to me. I just wasn't enjoying my morning cup like I used to. I enjoy sipping a leisurely cup of coffee. When I use a straight ceramic mug it gets lukewarm to cold by the time I get to the last few sips.This mug combines the best of both types of cups. The double wall metal for keeping it hot and the ceramic interior for protecting the taste. I know some reviewers have mentioned they think it's plastic but yes it's ceramic. My only mild disappointment is that it's about 2 oz less than my all metal cup. Not enough of a disappointment to take of a star. This cup is worth all of that.

Love this mug! Like the size, the feel, the ceramic. It keeps my coffee hot all morning without a metallic taste. It does come with confusing descriptions. One tag in the cup and one attached. One says dishwasher safe,the other says not. One says Stain resistant the other says soak to remove stains.so ... the ceramic coating is very thin. The ceramic stains just like all ceramic can stain. the lid gets coffee under the "slider" part. If you rinse it off after use, it shouldn't be a problem. I am not going to put mine in the dishwasher or in a sink of dishes and we'll live happily ever after.
