Ok so I never leave reviews, but I just installed and tried this phone holder and am so happy with it that I wanted to share with everyone how great it is. It’s simple yet adjustable - I wanted my phone to be up and away from the vent so that it’s easy for me to reach and see the screen, and I was able to make all the vertical and angular adjustments I needed. It’s super sturdy - I expected my iPhone 14 pro to flop around since the phone is kinda heavy but it doesn’t at all. The instructions are very clear and took me 10 seconds to install onto my vent. The magnet is super strong and holds onto my iphone very well even through a silicone Apple phone case. I did a ton of research before I got this. I decided on a vent one bc the kinds that stuck to dashboards/windshields all had reviews saying they lost adhesion in hot weather bc the adhesive would kinda melt, so I decided to go with a vent one since it’s hot where I live. So if you’re looking for a vent phone holder: you can stop researching now, this one is a solid option.

Originally I bought https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09R1G19K5?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 Then, I liked the additional adjustment of the "Magnet-O" up and down so I bought this model that I am reviewing. The current model has wings that support the connection to the vent... this however is more difficult to fit on my Prius center vent. This support bracket with wings is 2" and the Original model I bought is 1.5". It makes a difference because it clamps on part of my console screen, so it is wobbly. ALSO, if your vent breaks, the center console is expensive to repair. I kept both models (use this adjusted model on a Rav4 - and the original: using on my Prius.) I put both cell phone holders on the driver side vent...precaution if the vent ever broke, it's an easier fix. The mount is sturdy. I like the magnets. Just be mindful of the bracket support size and be careful not to break your vent.

When I upgraded to the newest I phone my car mount wouldn't hold my phone because the case had the new circle holder on it so I purchased this. I love how it screws on to the vent. It makes the holder very sturdy. The magnet that holds the phone is very strong as well. I love that you can adjust the holder that it doesn't block your vents. I like it so much I ordered a second one for the passenger side. My husband has an android with a rectangle piece on his case and uses it when he drives my car. He actually asked me to order one for him this morning. The only thing I don't like about it is the price went up with each order. I paid $14.99 for the first one, $16.99 for the second one and $19.99 for the third one.

I have had vent magnet phone holders for cases on older iPhones in the past but I always had numerous complaints. They caused my phone to basically sit flat on the air vent, would block air flow, and in the winter the heat from the vent would overheat my iPhone. My phone would also commonly drop when I drove on bumpy roads (a common thing around here) which was another annoyance.When I upgraded to my iPhone 14 Pro and got my Urban Armor Gear case for it, I started researching MagSafe holders and found this one intriguing due to it extending out away from the vent and the ability to tilt/rotate/slide my phone into different positions. I didn’t feel the need to get one with charging capabilities since I don’t usually need to charge my phone during the day, and if I do I can just plug the lightning cord into the bottom without any issue.I purchased and tested this in one car, setup was easy, found it completely satisfactory, and bought another for the second car. There have been a couple of times that my phone tilted a little so I just tightened down the parts that rotate (again…LOTS of bumpy roads around here) but the strength of the magnet has held my phone with a kind of bulky MagSafe compatible case through it all.Recommend 10/10 if you don’t need to frequently charge. And it is easy to plug in if you do without anything blocking the port. I will definitely be looking for this brand if we need to upgrade again in the future.

I have tried many of the magnetic phone holders and this is by far the best one I’ve had. Others are not very strong and my phone would fly off while this one has super strong magnets and my phone stays put very well and even stays going over bumps or sharp turns. I highly recommend this phone holder.

I bought two of these for two different styles of vents. My vertical vent, works fine. No issues holding a iPhone 13 (now a 15) pro max.As for the horizontal style vent, it always points down from the weight of the mount. The adjustable joints have always moved from the weight the phone and the vent orientation. I had to upgrade vent mount to one with feet to provide a total three points of contact for much needed stability. I also had to resort to using superglue at the joint to keep the joints from moving.

It will hold the phone in a wind storm

The setup is nice and easy but the magnet is extremely strong. Fantastic product worth much more $$$$$

The hook to air vent can be little bulky to fit to smaller air vent. Won't fit to the side air vents of my car.

As described! It attached to my vertical car vent firmly and has a strong magnet to hold my phone. It is highly adjustable and does not block my vent.
