ECONOMICAL REPLACEMENT FOR MULTIPOINT ELEC TRIC -WATER HEATER
INSTALLATION WAS STRAIGHTFORWARD BUT HAD TROUBLE REMOVING OLD MIXER TAP (MY TOOLKIT WAS ONLY BARELY UP TO THE JOB!) WAS PLEASED TO BE ABLE TO RUN POWER CORD UNDER KITCHEN SINK AND WIRE IN TO EXISTING HEATER SUPPLY-THIS ENSURES ADEQUATE AMPAGE FOR THIS FAUCET WHICH REQUIRES VERY CLOSE TO THE LIMIT OF FITTED 13 AMP PLUG (4.5KW ON EXISTING WIRING FOR NOW DEFUNCT HEATER,REPLACEMENT COST £166!)EASILY REACHES OVER 50 DEGREES WITH ADEQUATE FLOW RATE.WELL PLEASED.

4.5 Stars
I've only had this unit for a short time so I cannot coment on its reliability otherwise i'm very happy with it. I bought this for use in the kitchen and it works well there. I can get temps of upto 86c using a reduced flow and 60 -70c normal use.If it was possible I would have given it 4.5 stars because of a few minor niggles eg the power cord is far too short, but that was easily remedied. My main complaint is that when you connect the power cord under the sink it it leaves a small hole, which is at the base of the tap for when you want to connect the power cord above the sink. This hole could do with a blanking plug to stop water getting through, a little silicon solved that. The chromed plastic looks to be of good quality and seems to stand up to daily use but time will tell.So far its been well worth the money.

Cheap and nasty!
Had tap now for a few months, can't say I'm overly impressed, now started to leak from tank where heater is. Trying to contact seller, but because it's over a few months, don't think I will get any resolve. Cheap! Even the RoHs label on the back look fake as the text above doesn't make sense!

Instant Hot Water Tap
Being in an all electric house we hit problems when our old imersion boiler failed. After numerous plumbers and outragous quotes we decided to go down the instant water tap route as a way to save money. As we already have an electric shower we couldnt justify getting the boiler fixed to just heat it up for hot water for dishes and washing hands. Ordered the tap above and fitting it was easy. The tap is amazing, roasting hot water almost instantly. Friends and family have seen it and are well impressed. Before we used to have to run the hot tap for ages to get even a dribble of hot water. Have now also bought a Redring tap for the bathroom. Bye bye bolier.

DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUY. Spent a lot of time, effort and expence getting a plumer/electrician to fit only to find that it didn't work...f####d off ti say the least. Honestly..when something is so cheap and you think your getting a good deal....DON'T. Spend the extra money. You get what you pay for. Btw..the product is all chrome plastic and I'm sort of glad it didn't work as it looks CHEAP.

Broken after 1 month of active use.
The temp that is meant to show up is no longer showing up. The hot water decreases, then ends up being cold as I increase the volume of hot water needed. I would not buy it again.

Gets too hot
Good product, but we had to remove from the bathroom, as it can burn you and we had a kid and its too dangerous.
