Great Repair Glue
Had a 3-4 inch tear along one of the side seams on my leather Harley Davidson seat. Product is easy to use and after 4 months and 5,000 miles of riding the repaired seam is still intact. The cost of the kit beats having to have a professional do the repair work.

Adequate Seal, Mediocre Aesthetics
I'm not sure what kind of damage this is designed to repair best, but it says it fixes gouges, and that's what I bought it for. It came with several canisters (small, like paints of a paint-by-number kit) of black "liquid leather," plus a few other items to make repairs and add texture. I was repairing the arm rests on a wheel chair, which were punctured by a metal bit while loading the chair in my car.The foam underneath was intact, aside from the slice, and the covering was cleanly cut. The slice was about one inch long. In all fairness, the directions do say that you should build up any dents- basically perform all repairs before using the liquid leather. I was working with a flat surface that was basically cut, just as it would have been if I'd stuck a knife in the arm rest, so I didn't think it was necessary to build it up. I just wanted to seal it off and add texture to match. No such luck. The liquid leather seeped into the crevice, rather than forming a layer over the top as I expected. I ended up leaving it to dry overnight, and I did a second coat the next night. The texture sheets are paper with a raised pattern. They might work on a thicker liquid leather, but did absolutely nothing to my second coat. In the end, the repair is adequate. It's sealed up nicely, and the color is a good match. Up close, it's an obvious repair job. It might have worked better if it was thicker, or if the repair was smaller.
