Roaster Oven 26 Quart Electric, Turkey Roaster with Lid Glass Window Design,Large Stainless Steel Turkey Roaster Oven

We bought this for our sons graduation party. It works amazing and it is a huge capacity so a holds a lot.

My oven was down for repairs at Thanksgiving. Needing to cook for the family I ordered this cooker. It was a godsend. It cooked the bird perfectly. Because it has some steam and does not cook exactly like an oven, it did not brown the skin, which was fine with me as I usually break it all down and put in heated servers as we do buffet style for our dinner. It cooked a lot faster than my regular roaster in the oven or what the chart said and the bird was not dried out. It also saved my back from having to lift a heavy bird, and heavy pan from the oven to the counter. I'm going to try cooking a large ham in it next.

Came with a small chip in the side. Attempted to send it back but had to pay the shipping myself and the post office was going to charge 95 dollars for this. Because of that I kept it. Learned valuable lesson will only buy approved prime items in future purchases.

Use for baking . Makes the most amazing crunchy cornbread. I just place my iron skillet on the rack for air flow and put on the lid. Will not make cornbread in a regular oven again. 9x13 pan will fit in the 26 quart oven for casseroles, etc.

Bought for my mom, she loves it. Cooks a lot more than turkey in it. A lot better than using the oven it doesn’t heat up the house as much and cooks great.

Cooks evenly and it non-stick

This large toaster is great for cooking a large bird. It’s nice high domed lid allowed for the space needed. Only downside is it’s not very wide so if it’s a very large bird you may need to remove the legs and wings of the bird so they don’t touch the sides and burn. The roaster does seem to cook on the higher side so you may need to set at a lower temperature and check often with a meat thermometer to ensure it doesn’t overcook. I made a 25 pound bird and had to remove the legs and wings but it cooked in roughly 4 hours and was nice and tender and didn’t dry out.

Needed one in a hurry. 1st roaster came damaged that looks like it happen when it was put together. Requested a return for a quick exchange. Two days later had a new one in hand. I wish the pan and enameling was heavier. Got to watch the heat switch. Expect some smoke from the paint upon turning it on for the first time. 12 quarts of red sauce and 48 meatballs first use, nice and easy, but did I say you need to watch the heat!.
