Better than expected. Helped me plane edges on a pine bench and side.

Thought the locking system for the blade could be tighter, screw locking inclined to slip .

My husband bought this plane to use on jobs where a normal plane would have been too cumbersome. It loves it, he says it is brilliant for getting down to the bottom of doors.

Easy to use, just right for simple work like door edges, maybe not suitable for fine work due to the adjustment screw but for it’s price level it was just right

Solid body, with good steel blade. Easily set up and adjusted. Good buy.

Bad design, adjusting the blade is time consuming & a nuisance. Also the timber shavings clog up every time. Another cheap rubbish Stanley product.

This item was for my husband to use on doors, perfect size for job in hand, did a really good finish on difficult doors, he was so pleased as it certainly was just what he needed.

Je devais recaler une porte aujourd'hui, et ce rabot à recaler est exactement parfait. Il est très facile à régler, la lame peut être sortie pour être affuté et reste précisément en place dans le rabot, la semelle est parfaitement rectifiée, et la taille est bien adaptée au chant de la porte, ou à un travail d'ajustement et de précision. Le rabot se manipule et se tient en main d'une seule main (en poussant, et non en tirant comme sur les rabots japonais), il glisse bien et permet une attaque franche et une évacuation rapide du copeau, on voit ce que l'on fait.
