It's Huge.
Don't be left out in the cold, gripping your fridged 6 inch tool, lamenting those seized up nuts. This is a big, solid, girthy, pipe wrench! Almost too big for most jobs. Here it is next to a 12-incher by comparison. I don't plan on whipping it out often, but when I do, I'll be laying some serious pipe, and using some serious torque-nique. For those common stubborn nut jobs, I have the more flaccid 10-inch end-pipe wrench and the minorly-engorged 12-inch regular pipe wrench.... All preferably Ridgid of course.... But, when I get that call to rush over to a high-end client at 2am on a Saturday night to address some sudden moisture, or to loosen up a long-neglected connection, I'll be tucking this into my belt, and running out the door! Ridgid is a brand you can count on, and this big boy will get the water flowin' down there, in just about every difficult situation. I expect callbacks, just so they can see it in action again. (Warning however.. It doesn't always fit through the back door, so be careful)

Best pipe wrench, worth the money.
Save your money and avoid all the $50-60 knock offs. I’ve used Rigid aluminum pipe wrenches for years working at a water company. Regular use and abuse never led to any damage. Cheaper wrenches usually have harder jaws which don’t bite the pipe well like these. Harder jaws on cheaper wrench’s slip unless perfectly adjusted. Not acceptable on the job. Rigid pipe wrench jaws are replaceable as well and easy to source. Started my own business and had to tool up. Rigid was the only option. Get the aluminum for anything 16” or bigger. The weight difference is Huge.

Fantastic Pipe Wrench, great value
First looking at it, you would think it weighs 50 lb. The wrench is light weight, but more than capable of almost any job you can throw at it. The natural finish is great, the quality, the fit and finish. I would purchase again.

Its Ridgid. Most dependable wrench you can buy
If you are going to buy a wrench there is Ridgid and then there is everything else. I bought steel ones in the past to save money. But do yourself a favor and buy the aluminum. Working with these wrenches for 8 hours a day, everytime you have to pick these up you will thank yourself. Sure they are double the price of steel but they are lighter and most of the wrench wont rust.

Best wrench out there
This is a solid and reliable product offering years of great use. The Chinese copy aluminum handles are not a good quality and their pipe jaw material is not as hard. I lost my aluminum wrenches in a 2017 wildfire and am tickled to get these replacements. They were shipped quickly and were in excellent condition.

Best pipe wrench available
Pro water well driller here. I buy Ridgid pipe wrenches only (have tried cheapos and a couple other top brands). These hold up for a couple years of hard everyday use. They bite hard when new, i actually like them better after a couple months because they release easier. If you are a homeowner, this will last the rest of your life. I havent found them cheaper anywhere else (and I have shopped a lot).

The best bar none
The Rigid pipe wrench...Often imitated, never duplicated. There is nothing like the original.Yes it's double the cost of imports but what good is a tool that won't do the job.Just spend the money and be done with it.
