precise, scientific, forward looking.
This topic can’t be narrated in a more precise and scientific way. it covers historical, theological, modernistic, scientific, and spiritual context, Its narration is perfect to appeal people from all walks of life Muslims as well as non-Muslims, average casual readers, students, religious scholars, academic researchers,But most importantly, this book is forward looking, it opens the padlocked mind and exposes it to a wide range of possibilities, though unable to solve the puzzle to conclusion, but points in the right direction. Its emphasis on details and righteousness of content, does not leave much room for author to wander off track for unverified answers. It is about what is not said, and it include what is unknown, and that is a lot. For faith is an uncontested virtue, at this point we don’t have enough knowledge. Focus then should be to realize our limitations,What is it we are we call a human,— how can we even begin to comprehend how humans are created. if we don’t ponder on what it is that is being created; a physical avitor ? a non-physical part, roh, nafas? What are the building blocks of physical as well as non-physical construct of this being ? and if reality ? Where are we coming from ? and where are we going ? If man was created at the time of creation of universe, held in Alam-e-ghaib until time to cone for earthly journey, then it seems to be life of a pixel and suspended emanation, Is death an end of a journey, or end of illusion, for what end ? is thought a form of being essence of life cognizant of our reality ? What transcends this verse with us, once we are gone is then a sensation of good or evil. Some questions have no answers, the way forward is then pose more questions, as a way to enhance understanding of the previous questions and of our limitations. But more importantly we can never understand how humans were created if we can’t realize the attributes of God, the powers, the tools at disposal of the Almighty Creator, standing across the length and breath of not only universe but also multiverse , pondering over these is incoherent and incomprehensible for us in our current stance. How is it that the Creator has access to reconstitute humans, from seemingly nothing, and spontaneously, ‘be and it is’, and repeatedly. The basic framework tells us how the universe works. It seems like, the World of material realities can be explained by the world of mathematical calculations, and physics; At its depth the mathematical calculations leads us to the world of spiritual intentionalities, and this world of spiritual immutabilities leads us to construct the physical world of tangible realities. It seems like objects in these three realms are connected, It's just a big ‘whole’ together. The theory of everything is waiting to be found in these pillars of modern physics — relativity, quantum mechanics, computational complexity, and spiritual intentionalities, with intensity and depth of contextuality — are essentially the same thing viewed in different contexts. At this point I have just read half of the book and once I completed it will add more.

A thorough fair exposition to Evolution and how it relates to Islamic theology
I came to "Islam and Evolution" with a moderate understanding of Evolution, enough to know what natural selection was, random mutations, and some strong evidence for the narrative. I did not know, nor appreciated, just how significant and powerful the evidence was for Evolution and am absolutely stunned by the amount of information is in this book. There's literally hundreds of references, yet it maintains its comprehensiveness despite the breadth of the resources it draws from. It is certainly an easy read: high schoolers should have little trouble with it, and very thorough. The author, Dr. Shoaib, takes a fair and balanced approach in representing the various views concerning evolution, regardless of how seemingly ridiculous they may be. He presents the strongest form of the arguments and doesn't let his own personal biases affect it. The solution to reconcile Evolution with Islam, presented from the Asharite perspective, I do find to be successful and pose no threat to a traditional Muslim's faith.in summary, the book is a must have if you're remotely interested in the topic of evolution, especially in relation to Islamic theology. I took a ridiculous amount of notes that will help me in future discussions on Evolution. It was absolutely amazing. Really loved it and definitely worthy to be a Routledge book.
