Very effective but not budget
I bought these to use on a 4 sided leather strop to hone super steels like Elmax and Magnacut. 3 sides with reducing grit and the last as a pure leather, final hone. They work very well and you do not need much - there are YouTube videos demonstrating this but a few lines on a strop so all the leather just "wets" is all that is needed. It has given a final razor edge on multiple knives. Caveat .... you need to either have or regrind a proper bevel with stones before you use this. If you have softer steel/ carbon steel then save your money and use the cheaper and ubiquitous oxides. But for modern, high hardness, steels this is excellent after the diamond plates

Economical, effective, long-lasting and unmessy to use.
These pastes are very effective at honing super-sharp edges and a little lasts a long, long time. They need only a very small amount on a leather or MDF strop to work and work quickly, which makes them not only economical but far less messy than thick and waxy honing pastes that require scraping off and renewing regularly.

Wunderbar geeignet zum Messerschärfen
Die Dia-Paste wird von mir verwendet um meinen Messern den letzten Schliff zu verpassen und schlägt sich dabei bei allen vorhandenen Stahlsorten, von Kohlenstoff bis CPM-3V, hervorragend. Spätestens mit der letzten Körnung entsteht eine Spiegelpolitur und eine Schärfe, die mit der eines Rasiermessers gleich kommt. Es kann hier völlig ohne Druck gearbeitet werden, das Eigengewicht der Klinge alleine reicht oftmals völlig aus. Natürlich benötigen Stähle wie M390 oder 3V eine höhere Anzahl an Schleifdurchgängen, als beispielsweise 80CrV2, aber das Ergebnis ist bei entsprechender Geduld immer das gleiche. Die gelieferte Menge ist mehr als ausreichend, da nur eine sehr geringe Menge auf dem Riemen benötigt wird. Ich verwende auf einem ca. 30cm Riemen 4-5 linsengroße Kleckse, wer genauere Inofs benötigt, einfach mal DMT-Diapaste bei YouTube eingeben. Ich bin von den Ergebnissen jedesmal aufs Neue Begeistert und kann die Paste, trotz des ordentlichen Preises, nur empfehlen.
