GroEgg Thermometer

I purchased this whole it was on sale so it was value for me for me. I actually really like this, it allows us to regulate the temperature in the room as well as providing a nice little night light. The glow from the egg is just right, not bright enough to keep you up but just enough to keep an eye on the little one, I think it’s really useful and accurate and pretty much does what it needs to do out the box

The Gro egg is great it currently sits in our living room as it’s the hardest room to gauge the temperature in and the second most place he spends his time.It will eventually go in my sons nursery. You literally just plug it in and go it takes a few minutes when first plugged in to gauge the temperature. It glows different hues depending on temperature and visibly tells you the temperature to so you can adjust accordingly. It is soft and sleek and blends in nicely. It is an incredibly good price and a great product to have for your baby and price of mind. It is also a great soft night light.

Good product, great value for money as you need this for a couple of years at least after little one is born. However, the one thing I would say is that it is not adaptive and sometimes I noticed the room gets warmer however there is a discrepancy between the actual temperature of the room and the temperature it says on there. Other than that one issue it's convenient so I'm content with it. One glance is all it takes so I'm happy with this. Saves having to get up to check every time like my old one.

I purchased this as it had been recommended to me buy a family member. I read the reviews after purchasing which made me a tad apprehensive. So since recieving it iv been monitoring it to see how it goes. Honestly im over the moon with it. When downstairs, its pretty much spot on temperature with my home thermostat, theres a little bit of variation as my thermostat is measuring the temperature on the stairs and the egg is in the sittingroom, also factoring in other things. When upstairs the egg reads a lot higher but our bedroom is the warmest in the house and quite frequently has two gaming PCs pumping out a lot of hot air warming up the room. Temps will lower once baby is here since they wont be on very often. The egg looks fantastic and couldnt be easier to set up, literally plug it in and you are done. Theres a button on the bottom to alternate between colour brightness. I highly recommend it!

Bought it for my granddaughters bedroom ,now in my grandson's bedroom

I bought this as we have a sensitive-to-temperature cockatiel bird. We love the room thermometer, it's easy to tell the temperature at a glance from the other side of the room and I love that you can either have the egg lit up fully, dimmed or switched off entirely (the numbers still light up). I would have loved the light level options when my babies were little. A smashing product.

It’s quite pleasing to look at - gives a nice glow to the room, but I would have to agree with the many other reviews I have read, saying that the temperature is not accurate. Fact - the temperature is not accurate. It is always showing 2 degrees warmer than the room actually is. So basically - it kind of defeats it’s purpose. I think it is over priced for what it is (even with Amazon’s reduction). Not worth any more than £15 I would say. But hey ho - it gives a nice glow.
