Spider Man: The Dragon's Challenge [1979]

Fantastic film, it was the first film I ever saw at the cinema. The problem with people now is they look at films like this and say oh the special effects are dated oh the film has not aged well.The problem is actors do not exist anymore they are products of talent shows, I hate reality shows, people like the late roger moore and Christopher Lee were proper actors, David Jason the list goes on people who went to proper schools and learnt how to act not people who spend time on a talent show and are told they can act.An example would be the Hulk move, never seen it, never would.The tv series Bill Bixby, Lou Ferrigno, not the special effects of today but still visually far better than anything today’s Hulk movie is.By the way it is David Banner not Bruce.Back to the film without giving too much away, Peter Parker helps to find people from the past for a friend of the papers editor which ends up with him going to Hong Kong.As a final point most of the films made today are films that were made in the past brought up to date, as Hollywood has run out of original Ideas for movies.

Film credits state film release 1979Very dated film with limited special effects considering the era it was made, and acted by Nicholas Hammond.Nostalgic to see the men wearing flaired trousers and women with 70's - 80's clothes.Rare cameo part of actor Ted Danson (CSI) in his early career.As to the film as stated very dated in the plot, with the dialogue with the matching typical villians out to get Spiderman.The video can be transferred onto DVD without any problem, to help preserve the video tape life.Video quality is/as to be expected original, with no re-mastered enhancement.The TV series of which their were two cinema film's were not a great success until when Spiderman was acted by Toby Maquire.As a typical Spiderman fan I have added this film to my collection of later years..
