Quality laser
Works as advertised. Nice green laser with no cutting out even with prolonged use.

Bright, but not adjustable
This is a bright little laser which is suitable for my needs. My only disappointment was that after scraping off all of the hot glue, I found that there is no longer a pot installed and therefore the brightness is not adjustable. Since even the seller had said that the pot would be there, this is a bit misleading. I'm satisfied overall, but can't give 5 stars.

Poorly design causes severe overheating, does not meet specifications
This product is severely defective and the description is rather deceptive. After only 3 minutes of operation at 3.3V regulated power supply, the module overheats considerably — enough to melt the hot glue around the PCB. This causes the laser beam to lose brightness by over 90% and become barely visible. Do not waste your money on this module.

Unstable Power and Mode Hopping
This is a cheap laser and tends to suffer from optical output power fluctuations even with an extremely stable power supply. Additionally, after extended use, the laser becomes warm and experiences excessive mode hopping from the altered material properties. This laser should not be used for any sensitive applications. Also, it is true that this laser can output 40-60mW (as opposed to the seller-stated 5mW).

super quick shipping
I found out that the laser has a regulated power supply. At 3.2 - 4.2 volts the laser consumes around 250 millamps. Also the the diode/power supply is housing(ground) positive.... something that needs to be mentioned
