Barn Door Pull Handle 9" Solid Cast Iron with Rustic Look (Black Powder Coating)

Our kitchen remodel came with three new doors. The back sliding door came with a handle already attached to it. That handle is very uncomfortable to grip and pull. So when we needed to select a handle for this sliding barn door/ pantry door, we wanted something that didn't hurt to grip. I am happy to say this handle is comfortable and solid.I chose the black one to match with the slider hardware. I looked for a bigger handle but chose this one because of the smooth, ergonomically comfortable shape. It is large enough for a normal or large hand to grip on without looking where to place your hand. You can just reach and go. I open this door many times a day so I am happy I got a good handle.

I was not sure how these would feel in my hands but when installed on my sliding door they feel solid and I like them better than handles that are centered. By that I mean that these are a bit off center and I believe it works better ergonomically. Other door handles were either too heavy ( seemed better for an outside door) or too thin ( felt like they would would not work well with a heavier door). My only wish was that they did not have the bit of glossy surface. My barn door harware is more of a matte finish.

Our barn door is solid wood so my husband screwed right into the door. It matches perfectly to the hanging hardware we bought separately. Very sturdy. My 3 and 4 year old pull the door open and closed all the time and we’ve never had an issue with it loosening.

Bought this to go with our barn door and I love it! Its the perfect size and i love the cast iron look.
