I hatch alot of different bird eggs and use this to check growth. I also sell alot of eggs and volunteers help collect so I like to double check that none have started growing before selling. Great light. Prefer cordless one for daily use outdoors and in barn, but have this one plugged into my garage and it is very reliable.

Great egg checker. Didn't know it was working well until I saw a dense egg and knew immediately it was not a fresh egg for consuming. So it did its job! I just wish it came with some kind of instructions. It came with some kind of ring that goes around the light end but no instructions about how to use it.

Does not candle well at all. Can barely see anything. Has to be plugged up to work and the cord is not very long at all.

The media could not be loaded.  Super easy to use. Gives a good looks at the inside of the egg except for the darker eggs. It is not quite strong enough brightness it seems. If you use it in a pitch dark room it works the best. It did accurately work for my 2 hatches that I have done so far so I recommend it, just for lighter shelled eggs.

Just saw my chicks growing after just a week! This candler works perfectly and it's rechargeable

It's got a shortage somewhere. The light blinks on & off. Also, The light isn't bright enough to see the veins in the egg. I wouldn't buy this one again.
