Raven 28 Backpack - Multi-Pocket Organization, Padded Support, Durable Fabric - Commuting, Travel, Black

This is sturdy and tough, with lots of pockets and compartments to stay organized. I paired this backpack with a set of zippered canvas pouches to further organize the large compartments, and I'm very happy with it. I routinely carry both an iPad pro and a laptop, and this holds both easily. If you get the black, done expect perfect jet black for long - this picks up dust and fuzzies and shows its wear over time. I don't mind my tools showing some wear, but if you're a neat and tidy, prim and proper type who wants perfect clean black always, this is not for you. No points against, as I don't think that's the goal. Zippers feel durable and function easily without undoing themselves. I'm a big guy, 6'1" and 275, and this is very comfortable to wear, although my wife says it looks slightly small on me. I don't really care how it looks, as I'm a function first kind of guy.

I literally spent numerous hours and a few days scrubbing through countless video reviews, online articles, and even testing bags of coworkers to figure out what I did and did not want. I wanted something that was not too large but could carry all of my daily work items as well as the extra stuff I bring home on the weekends such as my laptop and etc. I wanted something that not only was made of good quality materials but also liked the part bc I wanted to use it for work and also short weekends trips to put a few nights worth of clothes. And definitely something with good organization which it does so well. Allot of the bags I looked at either were too expensive and didn’t meet my needs anyways, or were honestly just not visually appealing and weren’t the right size. To me this bag is extremely functional with organization that makes sense for an EDC bag without doing too much. I carry everything I need in its dedicated place so easily. The overall size is perfect bc ya not too large but can handle everything you could possibly need in a day with room to spare. This isn’t a bag for long traveling. The zippers are smooth and texture/color of the bag is better in person than from the listing pics in my opinion. My only cons would be that the ‘s texture can attract some lint and random stuff but it can simply be wiped off with your hand or something else. And that’s the bag does need to be landed up against something bc it does not stand up by itself. I understand this is a design trade off to help with weight distribution when wearing the bag when it’s fully loaded. This honestly doesn’t bother me that much bc I mostly have it at work sitting in my extra office chair but for others it may. Overall great purchase for the price and would recommend this to anyone looking for a great bag under $100 that’s around 30L.

I had been waiting for this bag to go on sale, and when it did I bought it. I have had this brand’s same bag but in the smaller model. I wanted this one for more storage capacity. I love the ease of use and weight of this bag which makes it very comfortable for taking on trips or just going to the office. The quality on these bags are much better than most of their competitors. The zippers work good and I have never had a problem with them. This bag has so much space and compartments, it’s almost hard to find enough things to put in it. The only downside to the black color is that the material will pick up animal hair and such quite easily.

I've been using the Fjällräven Raven 28 backpack for a few months now, and I'm incredibly impressed. The build quality is exceptional - the materials are durable and the craftsmanship is top-notch. I use it daily for work and it easily carries my laptop, books, and other essentials. The backpack is incredibly comfortable to wear, even when fully loaded. The back panel and shoulder straps are well-padded and breathable, making it comfortable to carry for extended periods. The design is classic and stylish, and the Khaki Dust color is versatile and goes with everything.

Bought for student uses, and it really is a great backpack. It's been used for long days, sunny and rainy days, and traveling days. I don't know if I'd buy it again, but I don't regret buying it at all. It has many pockets and can store a large capacity of books, laptops, and smaller items. Here are some of my notes after consistently using it for a year: - There's three large compartments and 5 zippers. One for a laptop, one for the main storage (books and whatnot), and one for smaller items with pockets (pencils, cables, thin books). The other two zippers are the small pocket in the front (perfect for keys, wallet and phone storage) and one fleece lined pocket that's perfect for a pair of glasses (between laptop and main compartment). The amount of zippers have made it a hassle to open the right one when I need it. - The bag falls forward all the time because of the curved bottom. It cannot stand upright, but I just lean it forward on objects instead - Great for overnight travel! The different zippers can separate clothes, personal items and smaller essentials, smaller water bottles, and bulky books. Can pack for two days with toiletries. - The straps are firm (even after a year of use), so I wouldn't recommend wearing for long periods of time - Perfect personal item on planes. Have passed through TSA with many airlines and there hasn't been one time where I've had to make it a carry on instead - Has been in sun and rain, I'd describe as water resistant, as the material can get slightly damp but mostly rejects water and the black is still strong after long periods in the sun

Update: After several weeks of use, I just can't get over how well designed and functional this bag is. A must buy for someone looking for quality and funcationality mixed in with a bit of the professional. I like Fjhallraven. I pucheased another one of their bags about 2 years ago. I'd purchased another one of their bags about two years ago. Looked good. Strong workmanship. But not practical for day to day use. It was a bit small, and there was no internal organization. One small, zippered pouch in the front; a large central storage area; and a place to slide my laptop. The Raven 28 is amazing, and I adore it! It brings all the qualities I loved about my old Fjhallraven and adds gobs of practical features including internal, zippered pouches, different sotrage spaces, and even straps for carabeeeners and the like. It's compact but still holds a lot of books and devices, as well as pens and charging cords, all the while maintaining a classic, professional look. I love this bag!

This has been an excellent work backpack for nearly a year for me. It's very durable, has lots of pockets, and the zippers are all going strong. If I bike to work it's still comfortable and doesn't cause any chafing, and I don't typically get massive sweat spots wearing it. It comfortably fits under the seat in front of me on an airplane. It fits my fairly large work backpack easily. Highly highly recommend.

I purchased this backpack for my son’s first year of high school. We’ve had this brand of backpack in the smaller sizes but needed something bigger this time. We were pleasantly surprised when we received it. It has tons of pockets, zipper pouches and different sections for storing laptop, notebooks, pens, pencils, phone, hand sanitizer, chapstick, water bottle, and snacks. It is very durable and machine washable. The design is also classic and timeless. It also has cushioned and adjustable straps which make it very comfortable to carry. Highly recommend!

After light use over the past year, both back zippers have come off rendering the bag useless. Pretty gutted, I expected better.

Paktischer, schlichter aber robuster Alltagsrucksack mit wirklich vielen Fächern und kleinen innenliegenden Taschen. Mein relativ großer Laptop passt ohne Probleme rein. Wie er sich wirklich im Alltag macht wird sich zeigen aber ich denke nicht, dass es zu bösen Überraschungen kommt.

Buen material, bonitos acabados. Es muy buena mochila y muy buena marca, únicamente tener en cuenta el tamaño, es una mochila pequeña pero los tirantes de ajustan bien. No es una mochila de viaje, es una mochila para el día a día. Recomendado.
