Very good solution.
I had purchased a different cone, literally shaped as a cone and it was too large and heavy for my little guy. He was miserable so I bought this one to replace the other. While my little guy wasn’t thrilled with wearing it he was much happier and comfortable because it wasn’t heavy, it was very flexible so he was able to eat, drink, go to the litter box and jump to places with virtually no issues. Laying down wasn’t awkward and he seems to be much happier with this version than the previous. It does have a cinch at the center opening to get a better fit for your furry one so they don’t kick it off; have have to be careful not to make it too tight.. It also has a cinch as the outer edge if you needed this to hold an actual cone shape. Overall this was the greatest “cone” I’ve ever used and definitely recommend it

Perfect Comfort and Really Works
My 2 yr. old cat Luz had been licking one spot til it was nearly raw. My daughter suggested a "soft cone" from Amazon, which I had never heard of before. Picked out the very cute Pink "gingham type" print with kitties on it! I chose this particular brand because it was padded, quilted and looked truly comfortable. Luz loves her collar! It adjusted very easily with no loose parts, and the soft inner collar held it snug while still very comfortable. I was surprised that Luz never fought it. She tried to reach the raw spot on her thigh but the collar would cover that spot when she stretched her neck! Perfect. In fact, Luz's anxiety disappeared and she was back to her old self, napping all day. It has all gone so well, that Luz isn't wearing it today and not licking, so I can wash it. Luz can eat, drink, and use the litter box so easily with the collar because it's very flexible! Also, she still jumps up on her sun pedestal, no problem.

Effective and Relatively Comfortable
We are using this collar to prevent our cat from scratching a healing wound, one that he had continually scratched back open. The collar has been very effective in keeping him from reaching the wound, but has also been relatively comfortable for him. He doesn't love it, and it prevents him from doing some things - lying in a curled up position, walking up stairs (the collar gets in the way of his feet). But those issues are unavoidable, and overall its flexibility has made it possible for him to wear it without any great discomfort.

Lasted 1 week before it broke
The strings used to adjust the neck broke off within a week of receiving it, and the cat was free to tear up her belly again. Waste of money!

Works, however it seems too wide for average size cats & not at all useful for kittens.
The Crazy Felix Soft Cat Cone Collar is mostly a collar, less a cone and a fairly wide collar at that, compared to the other one's I've used. It's soft because of the cloth covering but not squishy as it has some kind of boning in it for structure. The collar is a complete, intact circle that you slip over your pets head as you would a sweater then adjust the fit at the neck & outside rim with short, drawstring cords. My cat doesn't mind wearing his ID collar when we go outside for a walk but the "over the head" thing wasn't accepted well. I believe it will work for it's intended purpose, but IMO it's wider than it needs to be for a cat cone. He's a 12 yr old. 9 lb cat, so medium size & I don't see that middle hole fitting a cat much bigger than him. I think this would be very uncomfortable for a kitten to wear. Final verdict: He wanted this one off ASAP.Pros: Well made. Will work as intended.Cons: Wider than it needs to be. A kitten would get lost in it. Also I don't like the adjustment drawstring loop on the outside rim being there. I can just see a cat getting their back claw/toe stuck in that, freek out & possibly injure themselves.

drawstring is not secure
I almost returned this item because the "lock" that supposed to hold drawstring in place is not secure and keeps coming undone, but because we have a surgery coming up and no time to get replacement, I had to tie it off in the position we need it and cut off the rest of the string - it is way too long and is a catching/choking hazard.

Great cone for comfort
My cat had a sore on her hip and had had to wear two cones just to keep her from licking it. Since she has had to wear a cone for the past 3 months and who knows how much longer, this one is great. She is comfortable and can't reach the sore at all. And she is able to clean her paws and legs with it on.

Worked well even with large cat with tail stitches.....
Could not find a soft collar that my large, flexible, determined kitty couldn't get at his tail stitches. This was is so perfect when i put it on top of the stuffed donut style soft collar. This one is soft but also holds it's shape, so it can stay straight out like a disk. Was the only thing that worked to keep him from his tail when i added it on top of the stuffed donut style soft collar. Kitty was happy, could eat, drink, sleep, lounge and see well with it on. So glad i kept searching.
