Ordered wrong cap
This seems to be a good quality gas cap but it's not the exact one I need. Had to purchase OEM to get my check engine light to go off. Double check parts number prior to ordering. Lesson learned.

Doesn't cause a CEL
I am assuming it seals properly and works as described. I don't smell fuel and no CEL comes on, no gas leaks out, so I would say it seals just fine.

Poorly made product
The cap screws in hard from the start. The lanyard that is supposed to slide as you turn it is so tight that it tangles. After removing the gas cap a few times the lanyard broke. Also the yellow light on my dash that I have never seen before (a 2007 truck) shows a car with the gas cap unscrewed. Poorly manufactured. I am not finding any options that are of any quality either. I don't even remember the cost as it is not an issue. Why cant we get a product that will work? Something made with quality in mind?
