Like what the titles says. It's a Freakin Beast E-ATX motherboard so make sure you have at least a full tower case to fit this motherboard. I paired this motherboard with the i9 3900k and its a beast. The only downside to this is it's pricing and lack of a IGPU (Integrated Graphics Processing Unit) support if your CPU supports it. It could use more usb ports on the back but its not a big issue. I would say it's really overkill if you just want to game. But for workstations, or for pc enthusiast I would say go for it.

There is nothing special about this board, they omitted the Z790 Godlike board’s ability for iGPU (WHY? That was stupid), it doesn’t CPU overclock any better than a $200 board, it definitely won’t go above 7200mt with Ram in A2 B2 2/4 slots used. It does look nice and I loved the size for my HAF 700 Evo but other than that, I’m dealing with quirky issues a board of the caliber should never have. All in all… get a different board. It’s just not worth the price tag!

Amazing build quality - very nice backplate fully covers the board (great looking but also functional - protects the board, gives it more rigidity when working with the board, etc.) Really like the way the m.2 heatsinks attach. The design of the board is top notch. I don't understand why they disabled the onboard video capabilities but other than that I think the board is a solid buy and is pretty unique. I Really like the M-Vision display that comes with it, I keep it on my desk and it's very useful from displaying general system status/stats, to using it for displaying the weather, etc.

It took a grand total of a SINGLE day of operation for the motherboard to die!!! I literally had just finished setting everything up on a monster of a building the previous day just for it to suddenly not post on the second. This is utter and absolute BS, considering I've paid nearly 2,000 dollars for this overpriced hunk of junk. At first, I thought it might've been an issue with the RAM, but then I LITERALLY put every other component in a test bench, and it was all fine! There was no way it could've been the most expensive motherboard to ever exist, right?? NO!! The feeling of spending more than a year, >$15k, countless hours planning and assembling a nice PC, just for MSI to screw you over with a defective product is honestly the greatest feeling of betrayal I have ever felt. Do not repeat my mistakes; NEVER buy a "Godlike" Motherboard.

Digital gem and fast!

Check site support area for product and give the install manual a quick once over. Attaching components to any compatible port may cause frustration but easily avoided by checking brief installalation section of manual. Not treating this as a negative, just recommending the read for those of us that lack impulse control when we get new hacker toys. Night and day difference in quality between this board and the handful of other class competitors I reviewed. The one aspect that I was pleased to see: No auto installed bloatware, adware, or other ROG like spaghetti code. You are presented with the ability to install some optional vendor software but not required. The drivers are well defined and published to WHQ so windows update will pickup and install everything (except bios firmware). Satsified with this purchase and would recommend.
