Superb quality and excellent value.
For the filing and storing of 35mm negatives these 'glassine' paper negative sheets are about the best type available in my experience. Normally I cut my negatives into strips of 6 frames but if I've managed to get 37 frames out of a 36-exposure roll of film as I sometimes do, these sheets allow me to cut a few strips of the film (or the whole film) up into strips of 5 frames and still accommodate them all. The glassine paper material from which these neg. files are made has a kind of very soft and smooth quality about it making the sleeves ‘anti-scratch’ and they are not only archival and kind to your negatives but the glassine also facilitates easy loading and withdrawal of your negatives. These Hama sleeves, which are actually manufactured in Germany, also provide excellent protection for your negatives and of course they can be used with ANY A4 Ring-Binder Folder for storing (I personally don't normally buy or use the folders deemed to be for Photographic use as you're expected to pay a premium price for them). Finally, these Hama neg. sheets also represent great value for money - and if you purchase a pack of 100 Sheets rather than a pack of 25 Sheets, they are exceptionally good value for your money.

Useful way to store and protect old negatives
Easy way to store negatives although the pages are quite large

A reasonable and cost effective way of storing negatives.
This is a cost effective way of storing and preserving old negatives. When I did some research I found that some people preferred plastic sleeves and some preferred Glassine sleves. There are pros and cons of both materials. Glassine sleeves are cheaper than polypropylene plastic sleeves and you can write on them. Plastic sleeves are more waterproof and durable. Glassine sleeves can easily get damaged by water contact and consequently the negatives can stick to them. I decided to go for Glassine negative storage files and just make sure they were kept in a safe dry place. The reason I rated the product only 4 stars is because the made to measure manufacturers file case with the outer slipcase is very expensive. In the end, I decided to improvise another way to store the negative file sheets.

Excellent
These are perfect for the job, not to heavy you can write in the surface. There’s a header space no date title. Easy to get the negative in and out. Economical. Have that traditional feel.About to buy a second box

Safe strage at a reasonable price.
I must say when I first looked at purchasing file sleeves I was surprised at the high cost of most of the items being offered. Costing around £10.00 on average for 25 sheets (with P & P). These however came in at around half that, and the quality of the sheets are very good. Cost aside the sheets are divided into pages of 7 strips each of which will hold a strip of six 35mm negatives. As negatives in the UK come in strips of 4 this is a tad wasteful but for me that isn't an issue. The sheets fit into my dated negative file binder perfectly. Pedants could if they like cut the sheets down to hold 4 negatives using a guillotine if they feel the need but really the extra 2 spaces are not a problem

Good for holding negatives
Material better than plastic, expensive and disappointed it did not include an index sheet
