imaginative
I enjoy this series of books very much. What I took with me from this book, besides hours of imaginative fun, was the inspiration that we can hold our own fate, and that life is full of choices and consequences.

the action
Character growth aplenty but it is the action that keeps me awake and reading. Overpowered MC, steadfast and loyal companions along with appropriately scaled antagonists in a world that can still be differentiated after reading tons of fantasy novels.I started reading with kindle unlimited but ended up buying the books. They’re that good for me.

More great storytelling
Once again, I'm amazed by the great storytelling and progression in this novel. Just when I get a feel for what is currently happening, I feel just as gobsmacked as I'm sure Felix feels when a mew storm comes crashing in.

Still good
If you are reading reviews on the 5th book, you have probably read the rest. Story continues to be as good as previous installments and I will be reading the next.

Home, Swart Home!
Felix is headed home. Well, he has a quest take a home. There's also a few problems in the way. Those who would rule the Continent seem to have other plans that Felix happens to be ruining.

Best thus far?
This is basically the capstone of the first 5 books where most of the major quests and villains of the first several books are completed. More to come of course but a lot is wrapped up here.

So good
Kept me on the edge of my seat, especially at the end. Other than a couple of spelling errors and a few punctuation mistakes, the book is well-written and edited. Thoroughly look forward to the next one.

Good sequel
It's more of what you have read so far but not in a stale way, keeps you reading till the end.
