Very Well Made Tool
This little tool is very well made. Super sturdy. The compact size makes it useful for corners and smaller spaces. The brass knob is also sturdy. Has a magnet on the back. Not very strong, but a nice touch. The only issue I have is the measurement lines and trying to set the tool at a specific depth. The lines are sort of thick and can lead to being every so slightly off. But if you are using to measure then scribe it works really well.

Great reveal tool
This thing is super heavy duty and stays locked while using or in my bags. No more need for the 6” slide square.

Awesome
I'm use to using a miniature combination square to mark jambs for trim after using this product I won't go back.I highly recommend it.

I like the Machining, and the magnetic on the back. I use it to find studs too.

Very cool tool you never knew you needed. Or even existed.
I've used a bunch of different tools to do the same thing this little thing does much faster. I never even knew this type of tool existed. The fact that this tool can go right into the corner and transfer the same consistent measurement is what makes this different. It helps transfer the same measurement from the installation to the material/tabletop. I've used small combination squares, compasses and tape measures for these measurements. This is a set it once and work with it tool. Because the tool keeps the offset from the corner on the tool, this is different.I never knew I wanted a tool like this but I can see it being used for different projects to keep a consistent measurement.I think my only issue, at this time, with this is the amount of play on the two planes. The retaining pin and the tightening screw are too small for the opening. The amount of play from one edge to another can be up to 1/16". That's too much at a corner. Granted, that same measurement is being transferred to materials and other corners but it really takes away from the entire point of the tool. Like, the tool is for taking a small measurement and then help in the transfer of that measurement but... +/- how much?Luckily, you can hold the tool planes flush as possible and this reduces the amount. At max measurement, where you cannot hold it flush, the play is reduced due to the design. But otherwise, I'd give this all 5 stars.

Simple tool that works well and is well built
Great quality. Sure, you could live without it, but if you install allot of trim it makes for quick work, gives you consistent reveals, and saves allot of time.

Great tool, handy for more than just trim work
Very useful tool for many applications. Increases accuracy and makes for a more efficient, productive workflow; a real moneymaker. Kinda wish the fit and finish was nicer (the sliding pieces have a significant amount of play in both pitch and yaw when the set screw is loosened for adjustment, slowing down the workflow when measuring as extra care is needed for accuracy) but for $50, can't really complain.

Quick easy accurate
Honestly I like it inspecting checking for others version of “quarter inch reveal” yes eyes are accurate but when teaching even a 16th is a teachable moment for some plus when u need to make 5/8 reveals to do messed up doors or double step downs on headers and casings it’s actually super quick easy and helpfull no thinking required !Love it worth it
