Only lasted 5 months
No good. This alternator only lasted 5 months. 1st of all it was a pain to switch it out on my toyota sequoia and for it to only work for 5 months. Not worth it. Better to buy frm orielys with warranty. More expensive, but ur getting something that will last you more than 5 months for sure.

Toyota tundra, 5.7 L alternator replacement
Alternator comparable to the Toyota tundra, 5.7 OEM alternator. So far I’ve had no issues. Alternator output is a 13. 9 to 14.0 volts at idle under load. However, I will say this alternator is a royal pain in the butt to swap out due to the tight environment of the engine compartment. Spent seven hours changing it out. Definitely not for novice mechanics that don’t have an extensive tool set.

So far it's been awesome
The original 100A Bosch alternator went out on my 2013 Tundra last week with 170k miles. OEM prices plus core charge were just too much for me to swallow, so tried my luck with this import alternator and so far I'm pleased with it! Nice bonus to upgrade to a 150A alternator for more capacity for towing, off-road lights, and audio accessories. My windows roll up faster and overall it just seems the truck is performing better and running smoother. Maybe that last alternator was dying for longer than I knew.Comparing side by side with the Bosch, it looks nearly identical. If the castings aren't the same molds that Bosch used, then they did an incredible job replicating every detail! The only significant difference I can find is the Bosch positive stud is silver in color and this A-Premium one looks to be yellow cadmium plated. It came well packaged with some very heavy duty airbags and also had a factory performance report showing all tested parameters. I measured charging output to be only .01 off of the report - a negligible difference that can be attributed to multimeter variance. Now keep in mind that I've only had this installed for a week and about 650 miles, but it's been flawless to this point. I'll update if that changes.Pro tip for installing on a 5.7L - go in through the passenger fender. Remove the splash guard and unbolt the power steering pump to give it some movement (don't undo any lines!). You can wiggle the alternator out over the frame rail and get the new one in same way. Soooo much faster and less headache than what the FSM tells you, which is remove the intake, fan, shroud, etc.

Pulley is missaligned
Didn’t realize it until I got the old alternator out. I also waited more than a month to do this job, (dumb me) and now I can’t return it.

Unreliable
I have only had this alternator for about 4 months and it is already lagging to keep my battery charged. Tested my battery and it is perfectly fine. So now will have to take time to buy a new alternator and install that one. Save your time and money and get a more reliable alternator.
